OK lads. A friend of mine and I are actually thinking of publishing a book of dumb sports quotes and just out of curiousity I was wondering would anyone buy it if it was published. It is nearing the hundred page mark at this stage.

The wallet in question was lost between the hours of four and seven in the morning last Wednesday. It has since been recovered. The only problem is all my cards have been cancelled. Now Lone Shark, as funny as the thought of Clocker eating a Clara wing forward is, we all know that he would never be ...

The big question is why you didn't get a chance to read the paper version? Was it because you didn't buy it? Looks like you are out of the running for any future appearances in the Tullamore Tribune.

Also has anyone seen my wallet? :?:

I think the biggest problem for teams like Ferbane and Edenderry is that while they are going through (relative) slumps a lot of young players will choose the alternatives of rugby and soccer just because they seem to be going better. There is nothing that can be done about this really. Not to take ...

Food For Thought

(Just got this in an e-mail. We have all heard of how clubs or county boards pay bills for injured players but this is the other side of the coin. On this subject though I think most clubs are ok. My club even offered to take care of me when I got injured playing rugby once. Hopefully the following ...

Alright kids what's the craic? Yeh that interview was fairly musing alright. My favourite part was definitely when our old friend Trib (who just happens to be a Ferbane man) asked the perfectly innocent question: "What is your favourite book?" Clocker replied "I am not the book kind.&...

As regards the Roy Malone thing the thing that pisses me off is that I am convinced Rhode knew what they were doing was wrong and still did it. That really annoys me. Lone Shark I have to disagree with you on this one. If this result was overturned I think the whole county will be happy to see Rhode...

I could only get tickets for the Upper Cusack. :( The place where I work wouldn't give me a corporate box ticket despite the fact that two lads from the Tullamore branch are on the panel for Sunday. One is starting and one is a sub. Maddness.

I know for a fact that the only time our very own Minor was on the Croke Park pitch in the recent past was for the U2 gig!

Yeh, it is all the father's fault. No bad knees on the mother's side who just happens to be from Clara and Ferbane just happened to be playing Clara the last time Mel did his knee. Coincidence? I think not! Anyway, Mel was the lucky one. He was born in February which was perfect for football. The ot...

Well, Paul certainly over-reacted but in a decent way. He was willing to stand his ground but three Bracknagh players were punching him on the ground and no-one did anything. John Ryan was after being brought on and was fifteen yards tops from the incident. I don't know where the rest of the older l...
