Re: Shane Dooley senior championship debut

2007 he came on for Joe Bergin vs Laois in the championship from what i can see. A repeat of that scoreline next week would be great. Looking at that what a year 2010 was and how things have changed.

Offaly vs Longford, Leinster SFC, Saturday 16/05/2015

Seeing as this is Offalys first championship game of the season it deserves a thread. Offaly have named an unchanged team from 3 weeks ago so hopefully we get the same result, hope there will be a big support there to support them on after going so well this year. Would i be right in saying that it ...

Re: Offaly Hurling Championships 2015

From 1 to 15 St Rynaghs easily defeated Ballinamere 5-18 to 0-10, playing with a strong breeze Rynaghs lead 4-11 to 0-3 at half time. There isnt too much else to say but Rynaghs ran the Ballinamere backs ragged playing in excellent ball into the forwards with Rynaghs constantly running at them. Ball...

Re: Division 4 league final Offaly v Longford

What Pat Flanagan has done in a year is a remarkable job, not a word of indiscipline in the camp, a happy squad gaining their initial goal set at beginning of year. Westmeath have done great since he left with two relegations in the league after he getting them to division 1 football. Now hoping for...

Wonder is there any truth in this rumour, he would be good target man at 14, probably just paper talk though.

Re: Offaly Hurling Championships 2015

Both teams touches were very poor considering the dry conditions, the amount of times the ball rolled past players going for a ball only for a sweeper to clean up was too much for senior hurling, Shamrocks had a great goal chance with about 5 to go before half time i think only for Kieran McLoughlin...

Ballinamere 1-17 Shamrocks 0-17 Going into O Connor Park i was told i had to buy a ticket so had to walk back and buy a ticket before i entered the turnstile, purchased my 50c programme to find out that none of the Shamrocks team lined out as per programme, Ballinamere did the exception of Paddy Tho...

Re: Division 4 Offaly v Antrim

Will be great to play our neighbours Westmeath again and play some better opposition. Will also give the players a chance to play in Croke Park before we play the Dubs after we beat Longford in first round, small steps but going in the right direction.

Re: League Quarter-Final Offaly Vs Tipperary, 29 March 3pm

Is there any truth in them charging €20 into Tullamore on Sunday? That would be €15 buying them online or in the selected shops before hand i would presume i checked on the gaa website and all quarter finals are 20 euro for the hurling. Cork and Dublin come off better as they have double headers wi...
