Can someone clarify if Tullamore have pulled out of the Intermediate Championship altogether?
If so are they automatically relegated to Junior next year?

Re: Game of the weekend
I went to O Connor on Saturday evening to watch this one. A terrible evening for football. Raheen won this one 1-9 to 1-7 A game of two halves. Doon played with the wind in the 1st half and went into the break leading 1-5 to 2 points.. Raheen then outscored their opponents 1-7 to 2 points in the sec...

Re: Fields- Good and Bad
Clonbullogue is not the worst pitch in offaly - but the worst facilities! YES! Gracefield, Ballinagar, Pollagh and Clara pitches are worse than clonbullogue And to thereorthereabouts, theres no need to come on here an bitch about our pitch. Maybe its because you got a hammering down here  ...

Re: Fields- Good and Bad
The O'Connor Park debate is a tricky one. Players tend to like playing there since the surface is nigh on immaculate while obviously the dressing rooms etc. are decent, but it does lead to terrible atmosphere at times. I'd say the attendances at the two games on Wednesday night were about the same,...

Re: Game of the weekend
I'll be in at this one too and I'm looking forward to it. Raheen are very competitive but I'd have given them a lot better chance of beating Doon on a smaller pitch. O'Connor Park is a big place to be chasing after lads like Trevor Phelan with five minutes to go in a game of football. I'd give Doon...

I see Ballyfore are playing Bracknagh in Clonbologue this weekend. This wont be one of the highlights of the weekends fixtures, but I think we have enough of venues in the county without having to resort to playing in Clonbologue especially in the Championship, let alone having to play there in the ...

Offaly Fixtures League Football
Any news on when the leagues Div 1-4 are going to be wrapped up this year. Any weekends set aside for the divisional semi finals and finals, now that the weather is a bit better?
I persume all the league action will be wrapped up before any ball is kicked in the championship?

Re: Football Championships?
According to the fixture list issued at the start of the year, it's down for the weekend of the 10th/11th/12th July. Now also that weekend, the Leinster football finals, phase 2 of the hurling qualifiers and the second round of the footballer qualifiers are down for decision.. Has there being any u...

Re: Football Championships?
Just on the Senior- Rhode are too short there, 6-4 would be more appropriate. And I would definitely have Tubber a bit shorter at 25-1. I think that the Intermediate is a lot more open than you might think. I do not believe that Birr and Raheen are as far away from the rest in front of them. My pric...
