Re: Intermediate Football Championship 2018
Brigids & Shannonbridge will be favs. Ballycommon & Ferbane are the dark horses. Doon:seemed to recover well, after last year under Curran, who supposedly came with hefty ‘expenses’ claims. I would just like to correct for the record that Shane Curran absolutely did not come up with any ' h...

I don’t care if this was their third team, it’s no bad result and definitely progress albeit early doors yet.

Re: Leinster club championships 2017
Any chance we could go back to the game. Planning to go Sunday. Would be a great lift for the county if KK could come away with a win here.

Re: Advancement from Group Stages Football
When was the last time neither Rhode, Tullamore, Clara, or Edenderry didn't appear in the final? Probably Ferbane against Gracefield from around about 1990. I remember I was about 15 minutes late into the game and it was already over as Ferbane led by something like 3-7 to 0-0. That was a cracking ...

Re: Under 21 Football Leinster Quarter Final
The S & C difference between the teams was massive,,,,,,,, we have a lot of catching to do.... Wasn't at the game so cannot comment. But the only thing I can say is that 2 years ago (or 3 whenever it was) that we beat them in Gracefield, their S & C was far superior to us and we still beat ...

Ryot, Beat Waterford in extra time in a Thurles quarter-final on the day Joachim made his comeback following his cruciate injury. Beat Tipperary in the semi-final in Limerick on a wet day. Michael Duignan scoring the clinching goal in a tight game. Tipperary went on to win the All-Ireland later tha...

Re: Huge Turnout
Only slightly GAA related... The New York St. Patrick's Day Parade had an overwhelming Offaly turnout of marchers yesterday ( the weather could not have been better) and a favorable position in the line of march was provided, but still. A few years I ago I was one among 'maybe' 20. Yesterday there ...

Re: U21 Home Advantage Lost
Very disappointing result last night. Although there was a fair breeze in the first half, we still left ourselves a lot to do going in 7 behind at half time. 4 unanswered points at the start of second half brought the game to life albeit very short lived. An easy turnover by Kildare saw them score a...

I m not looking for player info, just seeing if our lads - carlow cbs playing gallen in leinster semi on tue, were treated the same as your lads. 8 of the Gallen players ...
