Division 4 looks likely after that display. I think Offaly have gone back from last year, too slow today in everything we did.
It's Antrim at home next Sunday, followed by Louth in Tullamore. They are must win games.

Football league 3 2017

With the league starting this weekend, what do posters think about Offaly's chances in Div. 3, Will we get promoted or will it be back to Div. 4?
Personally I think staying in the third tier will be a good result, but that's just my opinion.

Re: 2017 Walsh Cup

Kingscounty i agree totally Sunday was the walsh cup . Last year Kerry beat us in the league in birr but when it mattered a few weeks later we got the win. I think we need experence down the spine of the team and build the team around them. 1 J Demsey 2 3 E Murphy 4 5 6 C Egan 7 8 9 S Ryan 10 11 C ...

Rhode lads to return this weekend. Under 21s are out Saturday so I wouldn't expect to see many if them Sunday.
Who are the U-21s playing tomorrow?

Re: 2017 O'Byrne Cup campaign

What happened to Offaly last night. 5 points in the first half, and 4 in the second half doesn't sound like a great return.

Very interesting Gavin. Is your dad still alive, and how did he do after 'guesting' in Offaly?
There is a story there for telling.

Re: Offaly hurling manager??

Give me a team of strong characters, in preference to fifteen hurlers, every day. And best wishes to those who have answered the call. I can't imagine how tough it is for you right now, dark damp nights and hardly a hurl or a ball to be seen, but stick at it and eventually the evenings will grow br...

Re: Chairperson

As I am not with a club in Offaly and have no involvement with the County Board it would be very unfair of me to have a go at P Boland........... What I do know is that the Training Centre/Centre of Excellence outside Kilcormack (which I had a look at recently) will be a lasting monument to his ter...

Re: County Senior Football Final

What is the story with the Leinster Club Championship for Rhode? How does their side of the draw look? Something I always liked with the old Offaly website was the Roll of Honour for every grade both hurling and football. This seems to have been axed with the new website. Disappointing. Rhode play ...

Terrible game. Rhode played fast direct football. Ferbane were nervous, their tactics didn't work today.
