Re: Byrne v Duignan
After listening to both interviews I also think change is required. Feel Duignan is bringing more to the table.

Re: Offaly Hurling 2020
He is a model hurler alright, but he is no Jimmy, and another player who impressed me in the semi final and quarter was the young birr full back. I agree. But O Meara was the best full back all year. Have to give credit there to Corrigan. I seen O Meara 3 times last year and was man of match two of...

Re: Offaly Hurling 2020
Personally taught Jimmy in the other corner deserved one.
Doubt Corrigan was at too many hurling games last year.

Re: Offaly Hurling 2020
Lets not forget that Offaly's first All Ireland in 1981 was won with a Galway man at corner back who wasn't seen as a contender for a place in his native county. Given that Martin Dolphin has Offaly connections I would like to think there is an affinity to Offaly that's driving any potential move. ...

There also is the fact that Gerry O Malley is a selector and it was Maher whom was the ring leader in removing him from the ferbane set up in 2017.
he sent a text into the group whatsapp that O Malley was also in.

Re: Offaly Hurling 2020
One thing I disliked about Maughan this year was bringing in that chap from Kilmacud who wouldn't stand out on the Clonbullogue team never mind an intercounty football team! Lets pick develop our own players please. I have to disagree with this. Horan is a exceptional footballer and think your givi...

Re: Offaly Hurling 2020
Dolphin won a club all ireland in 2008 against biir as a sub (18 years old), 2009 at corner back and 2014 at center back. Not questioning his ability. He is now 30 years old, hovering around the Galway panel for the last 5 years. What good is he going to do Offaly hurling. If he was 23, 24, 25 and i...

Re: Additions to County panels Football and Hurling
As an Offaly supporter its John Maughans job to find and field the best in the county. Offaly can't afford to leave out a player of Joe's ability. I'm just curious to know is it player not interested cause it has to be. your right Offaly need every player with the talent Joe has but don't need bad ...

Re: Offaly Hurling 2020
Any player coming to us on the Granny rule, being it a permanent transfer rule. Fair enough!! Be it they want to hurling inter county, etc etc.. Would ave to question why Galway don't want Portumna's number 6 on their team/panel. Martin Dolphin hurling with Offaly on a temporary basis while in devel...

Re: Byrne v Duignan
This is the bit that I'm looking forward to hearing about. It's one thing to complain about things that have happened, it's quite another to put on record your views on specific goals that you think are achievable, and how you plan to get there. Michael Duignan has said that he wants to talk to the...

Re: Offaly Hurling 2020
Yeah I would think that would be the best conclusion.
What happens to Senior B and Intermediate?
Senior B will now have 6 teams? Are they making that 10 also?

Re: Offaly Hurling 2020
I agree with this. Should be the same in the football.
4 from each group to a QF with 1 playing 4 and 2 playing 3 from the opposite group.
Bottom two teams into relegation.

Re: Senior A Hurling 2019
might start a discussion thats not needed but I don't think this rynaghs team is better than that kk team of 2012.That team did 3 a row (2012 to 14) very convincingly. Won leinster in 2012, beaten in semi final by 4 points in 2013 and lost final to ballyhale in 2014 by 4 points also. and have since ...
