I wonder if Ryan, Codd and Mythen will feature, if not then it looks a weak Wexford team. Their backline has been keeping them afloat for a few years now, it still looks fairly good. Up front they aren't impressive. Rory McCarty and Micahel Jordan are real journey men at this stage. We should be ash...

Good analysis by POTH, though I'm not sure if moving Cleary to corner back would be good for us. He'd be very exposed to Wexford's tricky midget corner forwards, who would be pacey and quick to turn. Paul Odd might suit him better at full forward. Cleary is much more of the traditional square mindin...

Folks, just a couple of things you might get a laugh at. On the Kildare board, lot of their fans are rabidly hoping that Offaly get punished. A couple of guys are being fairly reasonable and are getting it with both barrells from the loony element. http://kildaregaa.proboards18.com/index.cgi?board=g...

I think they're doing this because they fear Kildare will take out an injunction against a game on the 18th. What would be ticket situation be like? If all counties were well supported, it could be fairly full. Hopefully the World Cup will distract a lot of the Dublin band-wagoners. On a sunny day, ...

Last consecutive championship games won in Croke Park were in 1982, beating Galway and then Kerry in the All Ireland series.
Outside of championship, in 1998 we beat Donegal and then Derry in the league semi final and final.

There are no direct parallels to 1998: 1. We were 3 points down to Clare with 5 minutes (stated by Cooney) to play. There was a very specific rule (Rule 127 B) about a game that was terminated early having to replayed. 2. If we are found to be in the wrong, the rule don't automatically say we must b...
