We're still chopping and changing at midfield! This has been going on for a few years now. I used to get the feeling under the Mike Mac regime, that they picked the backs and forwards first and then put two leftover players in the centre. Getting selected at midfield was the next step to being cut f...

I don't think there's any point in getting into the quarters having beaten Leix and Westmeath.
We need to beat a top 9 team before we are worthy of a last 8 spot.

A question though - if different sanctions are possible for the same offence, as in this case, does anyone know whether or not the DRA can rule on the sanction, or is their duty just to determine whether or not the rules were broken? And if the DRA were to judge against us, would the Leinster Counc...

Morrissey must take some of the blame for creating this mess. If badly informed pundits like him hadn't started bleating about something being "wrong", then Kildare mightn't have mounted such a high horse. Now Kildare's initial sabre rattling has meant they can't be seen to lose face and b...

Hopefully the DRA will be made up of clear thinking people. My slight fear is that they will opt for a replay, as some in the GAA seem to view this a 'please all' option. It's like the 'hop ball' in a match. If the ref is not sure what to do, it's a great opt out. Cute-hoorism and gombeenism (as adv...

I think Offaly's success coincided with Ray wearing his parrot hat to the matches.
We need to get him wearing it again!

You'll get alot of plaudits at the end of the campaign & possibly Official supporter of the year Whatever happened to Offaly's celebrity fan Ray Larkin? He used to be a master of getting himself on television, with the hat that had a parrot drinking guinness perched on top. Has he abandoned shi...

Kildare are seeking a re-fixture and are also asking for a clarification on the 'blood' sub rule which is at the heart of the dispute.
It took Kildare long enough to come out and say what they want.

I think if we are going to play Kilkenny this year, then via the groups might be the better way to fo it.
We still have a lot of work to do and maybe the extra games will help.

Well done to Karol! A top class player and inspirational for Offaly. It's great to see him get national recognition. On another slightly related topic. It think those rival GPA awards are some joke. Mark Foley got it for last month. Best laugh I had in ages. Eoin Kelly's heroics, weren't good enough...

Sorry lads. We ended up on the Country End Terrace. I got word on Saturday that the terrace tickets that were sold in Offaly were for the Country End. On the day as throw in approached, the only tickets available from the ticket booth were for the Country End, so even if we wanted to get into the To...

Very lame from Murphy. Duirt bean liom go duirt bean lei. He knows he made a fool of himself with his "no disprespect to Down or Offaly" remark and is trying to claw back the damage. This is something he doesn't need to go public with. He could tell his players this in the dressingroom whe...

The Town/City End Terrace seems the best place to go.
