Re: Byrne v Duignan
If you look at the county board management committee for 2019. Tommy Byrne (Gracefield-Dual) Chairperson Niall Gleeson (Kilcormac/Killoughey-Dual) Vice Chairperson Pat Horan (St Rynagh’s Hurling-Hurling) Secretary Pauric Pierce (Raheen-Football) Assistant Secretary (fixtures) Jimmy Hogan (Birr-Dual...

Re: Byrne v Duignan
There’s 88 kids in St Broghan’s NS Bracknagh. Edenderry has 5 schools. 57 200 620 396 110 —— 1383 That’s just primary schools. Both genders accounted for, but they should be in rough proportion. 1383:88 15.72:1 So essentially 16:1 Edenderry has a population of 8,813. The second biggest town in Offa...

Re: Byrne v Duignan
Why do you think clubs should continue to back the present chair? Is duignan not a credible alternative or good enough candidate. We need change in Offaly.. If we back the present chair will we have any change or improvements? Lads spend a lifetime giving out about the county board but when an alte...

Re: Byrne v Duignan
County board worshipers on this forum they always have been! Far from it, very much so. The poll tells a lot. ....and I think that the clubs will back Tommy, and rightly so, in my, and many other people’s opinions. Just from talking to people from various clubs, that’s the vibe I’m getting. Please ...

Re: Byrne v Duignan
Any chance this can be merged in with the other thread. So all the talk from same topic can be kept together. I voted for Duignan but I think Tommy will probably get it on the night. I will elaborate on my reasons for voting for duignan later. I think it can be merged, but I think to use a poll, a ...

Re: Byrne v Duignan
Feel free to merge it into the meeting in Tullamore. Thought that this would be worthy of its own thread with the poll. So as to avoid Russian interference, votes will only count once a person states voted in a post below. Feel free to say who you voted for, why you did so etc. Also, feel free to p...

Re: Offaly Hurling 2020
Heard it from a young lad yesterday. Social media I imagine he saw it on. Seemingly said that he’s with a county but didn’t name the county. Could yet be us!

Did I hear Tommy Byrne say something about Peter going on a tour of duty with the army around the time of the presentation?

Re: Leinster Under 20 Hurling Championship
Not to be going off on a tangent here, but who do players from Skenach/Killavilla hurl with (presuming there are any!). Shinrone I guess? Given the underage arrangements, it’d be safe to assume so. Who is over Offaly u20 in 2020? All matches should be even enough. I'd fancy shamrocks, as they have ...

Brian Watkins
David Nally
Ben Conneely
Oisín Kelly
Mmmm.... A.N. Other. (Cahill, Bergin,...take your pick)
Any chance of Keith Mullally hurling? Scored 1-01 last weekend. In other news, I heard from someone that Martin Bennett is involved in S&C with a county team now.
