I can see where you are coming from.hopefully by the end of the championship Edenderry can at least lay claim to been one of the the top four or five teams in the county, maybe taking a scalp along the way. Ye can never rule out any possibilities though.Championship is a totally different animal and...

"I think that deep down the only side in Offaly that will go out on the field against Rhode without fear is Clara."

You could never say that Edenderry would fear Rhode.Ever.

"If you swapped Barry Malone, Alan Mac and Paschal on the county panel for Cassidy, Cole and Hickey would we really be that much poorer?" in my opinion Offaly would be poorer.Cassidy got a roasting last night from Michael hoey.I regard cole as a good footballer with tonnes of ability but h...

would be a tremendous lift for the county also.Things are way down at the moment (football wise)and this team reaching a leinster final would give things a lift of some sort.

Ross misses this game against Meath. He was suspended for one inter county game.He was still eligible to play for the club in the meantime but he injured his knee in a junior championship match which would have put him out anyway if he wasnt suspended. If they get over Meath he will be back.Huge loss ...

As regards Saturday's result i think edenderry underestimated the resolve of this particular Pullough team and also a third of the team were way below par.At the end Edenderry were battling to get a draw and did well in the end to get out of a tight Cappincur pitch which didnt suit the Reds at all.M...
