Re: Allianz FL Division 4 2013

Great win as Leitrim had been going well.

Dissapointed to hear about sending off.

Why was he covered in blood ??

Lads

The clown with the bodhran: was the fool blowing a referee's whistle with him ?

Normally close to each other but whistle man may only out with the footballers this early in the year.

Re: Club Transfers

I would suspect that taking 8 players from a Durrough minor panel would not leave very many.

So in that I would support the decision by the Clubs' Delegates.

Re: under 21

I don't know what tactical preparation was done but the team had plenty of training sessions & games and as far as I'm aware the Manager asked to do both Senior & U21 so targeting Teehan seems misguded. As for Paschal, did he not already have a Manager position with a Kildare club so he was ...

Re: under 21

Yea the goals were the killer but the third after they had they had worked their way back into the game was the real problem. The 4 wides in quick suscession inluding 2 frees were a massive blow. Even after that they kept the head and got a few great scores. The last goal was a minute late as there ...

Re: McTague - Offaly should amalgamate with Laois

While I respect Tony ( and have since he left me tackling fresh air as he was gone another way !!) I dont think we will ever see county amalgamations. Of course the KK one has worked as has the St Thomas' one but thats local small clubs short of numbers. Counties always have the numbers to field tea...

Re: All Ireland Club Hurling Championship 2012-2013

WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 I was down in Laois at a funeral and on the way back heard PJ Cunningham on Radio being asked about Ireland Rubgy teams winning and he gave a great answer "Yea, the Women, U 20 and THE HURLERS all won" What a pleasant bit of news. Brilliant Kilc...

Re: U/21's lose home advantage

What I would like to know is: Was the inspection bt Health & Safety ( ie HSE) or by officials from Leinster GAA in Portlaoise ?? If the latter I would also have my suspecions. The mention of "claims" is a worry. It was "claims" that forced the exclusion of spectators from the...

Re: Walsh Cup 2013

This fasding out in second halves is a big worry. Easy to say its down to current heavy training but would most counties not be in similar training. Too many one paced players and that half forward line just had no ball winners. If he is selecting that line then the puck out has to be varied or have...

Re: Heffo R.I.P.

Recall my late father saying Heffo had a connection with Rhode and that he may actually have been born there. Red or class may be able to shed some light. 20 or 21 Dublin Senior Championships between Fotball & Hurling ( each hurling was part of a double), captain when the Dubs won O'Byrne, Leagu...

Re: O'Byrne Cup 2013

Probably referring to Shane, with an itchy elbow trying to find a place to scratch it. Should keep it away from the opponennt in those circumstances, especially with the standside linesman watching intently !!!! Propably Tomas Connor's fault for standing so close !!!!
