Re: Offaly V Waterford 4/4/2010

Really enjoyed the game yesterday but have to say I didn't think for one moment that the Offaly lads looked like or believed that they could win this game. At 1-16 each it was crying out for an Offaly leader to stand up and drag them over the line. Sadly we had none. Learning to kill off games remai...

Re: Offaly vs. Limerick NHL 28/03/2010

Knew this would come down to wire. We left happy today that we will get more top action next year (assuming they dont fix all 7 games away that is!) but the performance was dire to say the least. Lets be clear about it this, the limerick team with the exception of #'s 7, 9 and 15 were very very limi...

Re: Offaly vs. Limerick NHL 28/03/2010

with teams tied on points being separated by the result between those two sides a win for Limerick might just be enough for their survival Yikes I thought it was decided on score difference.......this makes this game almost a straight shootout for survival. Limerick wont beat Kilkenny or Dublin I b...

Re: Offaly vs. Limerick NHL 28/03/2010

I've a bad feeling about this game. Limerick have been staying with teams for good periods of their opening games (i'm disregarding the Tipperary game as the red card really finished the game after 10mins). They led Galway at half time, were drawing with Waterford at half time and were not disgraced...

Anybody have this weekends fixtures?

Lads since these sophisticated folk that run our county board have obviously taken the decision to abandon the 'fixtures & results' part of the official website I'd be most pleased if somebody could post the upcoming fixture list. As a long term solution perhaps we will have to create a section ...

Re: Offaly v Dublin - NHL Division 1 - 14/03/2010

Jaysus even Tipp, Cork and KK people wouldn't make stupid statements like this lot and rubbish us like we are nobody, reading those comments that BNMM signalled out from these braindeads it sounds like some of them could of come from the few ignorant gobshites that were standing behind us yesterday...

Re: Offaly v Dublin - NHL Division 1 - 14/03/2010

Full credit to them today. It was a fantastic win and should go should give us a great chance of staying in D1. We have to be careful of Limerick now. But based on this this why shouldn't the lads go to Galway next saturday and go out to win?? I just hope that Joe Dooley can learn from this today an...

Re: Offaly v Dublin - NHL Division 1 - 14/03/2010

Too many rounds of musical chairs these last few years has been one of our biggest problems in my opinion! We need to bite the bullet and go for a settled lineup. Constant rotation of players is the cowards way out!!! So how, two games into the year and on a team that was already performing badly, ...

Re: Offaly v Dublin - NHL Division 1 - 14/03/2010

At least in other areas like MF and HF you can play musical chairs with players you have to hand. Too many rounds of musical chairs these last few years has been one of our biggest problems in my opinion! We need to bite the bullet and go for a settled lineup. Constant rotation of players is the co...

Re: Offaly V Roscommon NFL 07/03/2010

Well done to the lads today. We are quick to criticise when they lose but not many on here today after we've won! Sounds like it was a very strange game indeed. Was away today and couldn't get to it so awaiting eye witness reports of the goings on. If nothing our forwards seem to be scoring a bit. 3...

Re: Leagues

I don't intend to stop highlighting this. The league starts in 24hrs time in Ballinamere and still there isn't a mention on the offical Offaly website of league fixtures however theres up to date results of the Offaly Scor on the front page!! So you can find out how won the "Figure Dancing"...

Re: Leagues

Anyone have any idea when the leagues start again? Had a quick look at the Offaly Gaa website but you might as well be looking up a cows.... Hurling leagues start this weekend and as of 8pm on 01/03/10 theres not a dickie bird on the Official Offaly website about fixtures. I'd say its time to find ...
