Belief. We used to exude buckets of the stuff, often completely defying the odds against the traditional 'big boys' in both codes. It is absolutely imperative that we at least attempt to take on KK with some conviction and determination, none of this rolling over to take a hammering lark. If the staff ...

U21 Final agin' Laois

Shur Quigley fecked off down under with Begley a couple of years ago, and he wasn’t able for it, said he was home sick and came home. So any rumours of him going back are purely fabricated to coerce the GAA into rescinding his suspension. ALLEZ.

Jaysus, well thats a bolt from the blue. I wasn't expecting that so soon, thought he was gonna wait a likkle longer. As much as I have dissed and loathed the man, I still think that he deserved a wee bit more credit than he got from some quarters(I included). The future...is the final frontier. Ah n...

Mac

Where would Offaly football be without this legend, he has the heart of a lion and he never stops trying to win. Parnell Park in the League, we were all but beaten until Mac comes up with a hatrick and nearly a winner. That is typical of the man, sheer determination. Ireland's most capped Internatio...

Ah shur me aul' eyesight probably isn't what it used to be.
We must organise more supporter collaboration for the future, its the only way that we (as Offaly followers) can adhere to Uibhfhaili.com's mission statement of collective support, in order to make more vociferious noise.

Twas indeed Bord na Mona man. It will be in full flight again for the Leix game. Ah shur it was the GAA's fault for not allocating Offaly their own section on thye hill. It is vital that we continue to support the lads all the way now, we must be as partisan as possible in Portlaoise on saturday wee...

It aint exactly an analysis of the match, but in fact is a scathing condemnation of the scumbag dubs supporters. As I stood on the Hill I was initially greeted with respect and suprise. But come half-time when it looked like we might upset the odds they turned on us and it was quite sad to experience...

Why in the name o' jaysus have we not been allocated with Hill tickets? The whole point of segregating the Hill was to allow for fair distribution of tickets.GAA politics favouring the metropolitans once again, typical!

Rhodes credentials

Well lads,I must say that when I last saw Rhode against them boyos from Maryborough I wasn't the least bit impressed and to say that ''the match turned on one incident'' is wholly untrue, as much as I hate to say it.but Portlaoise were without a doubt the superior team that day.I subsequently went t...

Changing of the subject

On a lighter note,I am pleased to announce my first post(hopefully the first of many to come in a long and colourful career). My ability to change the subject and a propensity of not listening to people would make me an ideal candidate for a politician or else a position on the county board!Over and ...
