Re: All Ireland Club Hurling Championship 2012-2013
Sunday game was a classic Battle. St Thomas and Kilcormac Killoughey both were excellent on the day. the Weather was shocking but both team set to the task for the start. Its was Hurling brawl at its best. Conditions under foot were slippy. St. Thomas full back line were on top for most of the game....

Conrgt's To St. Thomas. They are a great team
Kicormac Killoughey were up aginist today, Losing Dan C was a blow.
But having to beat John Sexton what a F**ker.
The list of abuse that John Sexton has comment again Offaly Grow's.
The man should be ashamed.

Re: Allianz-Hurling-league 1B
Carlow have being doing well in the games so far and they beleive they can beat us. I hope Ollie have learned from the last day and stated our best half forward line. Paul Cleary play well when he can on the last day but David King and should be give a another few games to get up to county level. Bu...

Re: All Ireland Club Hurling Championship 2012-2013
Ok Lads, Two Days to go. I think we all know that they going to be One change to the Kilcormac Killoughey team and the loss of Dan is a blow, But Kilcormac Killoughey have being more than a one man team all year. I think however plays full forward will know there job and that half the battle. St. Th...

Re: Allianz-Hurling-league 1B
A win is a win. You have to be happy with that. Keeping Wexford to 14 points was a good sign as well. It’s easier to win a match when you defend well, and we did defend well. Wexford only scored 4 points in the second half. Paul Cleary was getting drawing out the field and played in around centre ba...

Re: All Ireland Club Hurling Championship 2012-2013
Big blow for K/K a week before the All-Ireland Final with Dan Currams breaking his arm in a challenge match this morning, the options up front are very limited with Trevor Fletcher and Mark Leonard the main forwards subs that have been used todate. I would hope the management dont try to change the...

Re: Allianz-Hurling-league 1B
Looking at the Wexford team that played Carlow the last day, its a good team but should be able to beat them on home soil. Lee Chin and Richie Kehoe at half back are good hurlers. In the Walsh Cup Andrew Shore at Number 6 had a tough time marking Shane Dooley at No 11 in the frist 30 mins. i think w...

Re: Allianz-Hurling-league 1B
Reading back over the last couple of pages. ( work being getting in the way of of Offaly Website :-( ). They have being some really good post's. The one about Offaly lads sulking because they have Kilkenny is a interesting one. I though Kilkenny had drop back a bit last year but in the replay of the...

Re: Allianz-Hurling-league 1B
Offaly seem to me to be leaning on a crutch of “we’ve a dozen lads out but when they’re back we’ll be grand”. Thing is that many of the injuries seem to be long-term. Bottom line is – very few will return between now and the end of the league. Scope for changes over the next five weeks are minimal....

Re: Allianz-Hurling-league 1B
One Point Loss and Offaly were very poor in the frist half. Score only 6 points. all six scores were free's or individual score. the forward as a unit didn't work at all. We were lucky to be only 5 down at half time. I felt sorry for O Kealey get taking off before half time but Colin Egan introducin...

Re: Allianz-Hurling-league 1B
It is most unusual that no player who played in the 2012 Co Senior Hurling Final gets a start in our first League Game. While it is fantastic that our KK Players are not available as they are preparing for Paddy's Day, I am surprised that no player from St Rynaghs made the team. Have St Rynaghs any...
