Re: Byrne v Duignan
Looks like Duignan is going to get in if twitter and media reports are to be believed. I think before Duignans Dictatorship takes over we should thank so many hardworking individuals that have gone about their business in the background in difficult circumstances when it would have been so easy to w...

Re: Byrne v Duignan
What are the pros and cons to the two men? On the face of it, what can be done by the chairman in reality. The level that Offaly find themselves at now are in my view not down to the holder of the chairmanship. For now, there are two good senior mgt teams at senior level. Hopefully success will com...

Re: Byrne v Duignan
Offaly have more men in the national media than any other county. it's not their role to wash offaly's dirty linen in public which has happened on many occasions. 1. Speaking on National Radio highlighting that players liked a tweet from another player 2. Speaking on National Radio telling lies reg...

Re: Byrne v Duignan
This “high powered” group that met to come up with an alternative to Tommy Byrne at the helm definitely missed a trick by not putting forward someone that is universally thought of in high esteem. Thinking of maybe Stephen Darby for example. The fact that Tommy Byrne (who we prob will all agree has ...

Re: Byrne v Duignan
So this lad hopes Duignan becomes chairman because he reckons he was a good fundraiser for The Faithful Fields! Besides that being a ridiculous argument for being a good chairman what evidence is there that he was anymore of a fundraiser than anyone else? And then you just mention local guys that ar...

Re: Offaly Hurling 2020
Wonder what would happen if KK senior Bs got to the final? Playoff with two losing semi finalists? Prob unlikely scenario but could happen.

Re: Senior A Hurling 2019
Great win by Clareen has to be said. Would I be right in saying that was the Meath Senior champs? Meath have leap frogged Offaly in intercounty standing but our Senior B champs beat their Senior A champs. Well done.

Re: Offaly Hurling 2020
I’d imagine fixtures are May/June. Aren’t the finals played early June?

Re: Meeting In Tullamore
Wow! Well said Bracknaghboy. A lot to be positive about and in fairness there has been a lot of very good work done recently by CB as listed by Bracknaghboy. Also you’d have to say fixtures have improved a lot in recent years.

Re: Senior A Hurling 2019
Hard to believe it’s now 11years since Birr last won it and no real sign of them challenging again. Pity.
