Re: Offaly v Kilkenny
God I love if the lads put in a huge performance on Sat evening. What is it with championship hurling and Offaly, for the last few weeks I was hoping we wouldn't get beat by more 20+ points and I wasn't even going to bother going, now i'm a lot more optimistic and have the car full going down tomorr...

Re: Offaly v Kerry 12 April Thurles
Seriously worried, not about Saturday as we will win by a couple of pints, but for the championship because of the type of hurling we are "trying" to hurl and type of teams we are putting out. playing a sweeper is fine if we a playing a hige pressure high intensity procession game but it l...

Re: Kilcormac/Killoughey V. Oulart The Ballagh
Looking forward to the match on Sunday and some great posts here. I fancy KK by 5 or 6 points but expect a very tough match. Talking to lads from Wexford, not OTB lads, but they keep saying that they were complacent last year and they wont get caught this year but I don't think they are giving KK en...

Best of luck Offaly hopefully we can put in a 70 min performance and not a 30 or 35 min like so often in d past. Think we can do it

Any word on the team or when is it been named. Any injury concerns heard Del is out and Cleary is doubtful.
Have we any hope or are we just hopin we can keep it to within 10 points.

Re: U21 hurling v Laois, Wednesday 5th June, Portlaoise
Well done to the U 21s yday decent result, a first win in the grade in 5 yrs. I did think OY were trying to play some good direct hurling especially in the first 15min where quick direct ball was played in front of Geraty and Quirke and Hynes goal came from a good diagonal ball played in2 him. With ...

Re: All Ireland Club Hurling Championship 2012-2013
Best of luck to Kilcormac/killoughy i realy hope they do it on Sunday. I think both teams a evenly enough matched and i think i will come down to who handles the occasion better, both teams work on closing down the space and this will be harder done in Croke Park so there will be probably be a lot m...

Re: All Ireland Club Hurling Championship 2012-2013
Hard one to call at the weekend, a couple of weeks ago I couldnt see K/K beating Sars especially after there performance against Offaly where they were very poor but the noises coming out of the K/k camp is that things have improved greatly since then. In all of K/K matches to date the midfield and ...

Re: Hurling Championship
Two enjoyable matches in OCP yday even if the standard of hurling was average at best. In the first match i think Birr thought KKs Ger Healion was there for the taken and hit everything into Sean Ryan but Healion cleaned him and it wasnt until Birr switched away for this tactic that they caused KK s...

Re: Offaly vs Cork - SHC Qualifier Rnd 2 07/07/2012
didnt go down on saturday after ( was pi*sed off after galway game) but listen to Gerry Russell and The Gift on the radio it seemed Cork should have had a man sent off and in general Wadding was very harsh on us ( i know Gerry can get things very wrong). also on the the Sunday Game high lights showe...
