Re: Offaly Senior Footballers Championship Thread

Not really relevant to this thread but I heard a great podcast interview with Eamon Fitzmaurice. He was talking about club month and releasing players to the clubs. A selection of Kerry players wear GPS trackers during their club games in April so Kerry management can monitor how they are performing...

Re: Coláiste Choilm

There is no u20 still u21. Be hardly much for u17 maybe one or two, when this an eighteen and a half grade competition. The Banagher team that beat them originally made up of mainly galway players. Congrats to them nonetheless. How come Football has U17 and U20 level at intercounty level but hurlin...

Re: Coláiste Choilm

Belated congratulations to Colaiste Choilm. A magnificent achievement for the school and the local area. Well done to all. Hopefully an Offaly U17 and U20 team can be built around this group of players.

Re: 2018 NFL

Well done to players and management last Sunday on a well deserved win, albeit not Westmeaths strongest team. A lot of similarities between last year and this year's campaign....poor start with an improvement in fortunes in the last 3 games. Confidence seems to be such a factor with this group....it...

Re: Offaly Schools

Anyone know how things are looking ahead of this semi final on Saturday?

I wonder will Cian Johnson be pulled from this game Saturday because of the refixed Derry game now on Sunday?

Re: 2018 NFL

A number of league games were called off this weekend due to the weather conditions. It never seems to end does it? Offaly's game with Derry was called off, but only at1 pm, when the Offaly team and a few hardy supporters had already arrived. Given the weather forecast why not make a decision this ...

Re: 2018 NFL

Mulhall not even named on the bench after last weekend. I felt sorry for him. Kickouts were not great but he literally had no options in front of him. Midfield was non existent. Joey O'Connor has probably had a tough week of it with the Trench cup for WIT footballers and Fitzgibbon Cup the hurlers s...

Re: Senior A Football 2018

Rhode or Edenderry for me.

I can't see any dual club challenging due to the amount of games this year across both with the new structures. Ferbane and Durrow are probably the most impacted.
