Re: Additions to County panels Football and Hurling
From the football final I was not impressed by Kyle Higgins but there were 2 forwards on show I would like to see added to the panel: Joe Maher and the lad wearing 15 for Rhode. Excellent player and kicked a heap of great points. Any chance of him being available ? Having seen the new management te...

Re: Intermediate Football Championship 2018
The two quarter finals are on Friday and Saturday evening of this weekend so I’d imagine possibly next weekend or the one after at the latest.Hyper wrote:Does anyone know when the semi-final are schedule for in the Intermediate championship?

Re: Intermediate Football Championship 2018
I see that Doon got relegated last night. It won’t be easy getting back up, particularly if numbers are low which I presume they are. Sad for a club that were senior in the not too distant past are now in the fourth tier of Offaly football. There’s no denying we are hurt by this but realistic all t...

Re: 2019 Division 3 NFL
I hope not Doon exile. The last 2 years Offaly have been depending on the last game to stay in Division 3. None of the 2019 fixtures are easy, but Offaly should be sending out a message beginning with the Laois game that, they are serious about going for promotion. I hear you and hopefully it’s you...

Re: Offaly Senior Footballers Championship Thread
Lost 1-15 to 1-20 AET , might be a blessing the Dubs would have absolutely hammered us That defeatist attitude drives me insane. Yes, maybe they might. But maybe we might improve a little with a bit of confidence under our belt after a win. The whole occasion of the dubs coming to Tullamore would b...

Re: 2018 NHL
What an effort , fair fucking play to the lads. In the end we made some silly mistakes that cost us , the ref didn’t make things easy for us especially in the first half. In addition to the heart and courage to keep coming back at Kilkenny, Offaly played some brilliant hurling and if Kilkenny got s...

Re: Intermediate Football Championship 2018
Brigids & Shannonbridge will be favs. Ballycommon & Ferbane are the dark horses. Doon:seemed to recover well, after last year under Curran, who supposedly came with hefty ‘expenses’ claims. I would just like to correct for the record that Shane Curran absolutely did not come up with any ' h...

I don’t care if this was their third team, it’s no bad result and definitely progress albeit early doors yet.
