Re: Bad day for offaly hurling

Continuing the ‘Bad days’ theme, the Minor hurling manager has been reappointed for next year. This is a horrendous decision as there were some glaring errors made before and during the Minor match against Kilkenny this year. http://www.offalyexpress.ie/offaly/Offaly-Minor-Hurling-Manager-reappoint...

Re: RHODE MARCH ON

Good win for Rhode and Niall MC doing the damage again they will also get it hard in Navan in two week's time as for Rhode having the stomach for it we will just have to wait and see black and red exile about that one if my memory services me right they lost two leinster final's to moorefield and ki...

Re: Leinster SHC 2011-Dublin v Offaly

Re: Leinster SHC 2011-Dublin v Offaly

Of course it won't be switched from Parnell park now, Dublin wouldn't agreed to it anyway because they will see it as a good chance to beat offaly in that bear pit plus they have a big bill to pay Anthony Daly after this year's flop. so Joe get the head down and the player's we have as much if not m...

Re: Leinster SHC 2011-Dublin v Offaly

It's not as if playing everybody in neutral venues do us much good. In the last decade, our record Portlaoise for neutral venue championship games is 1 win (Carlow 2007) and 8 defeats - An 11% win rate In Tullamore in the same period it is 8 wins and 6 losses - A 57% win rate. Never mind other fact...

Re: Leinster SHC 2011-Dublin v Offaly

This Home and Away arrangment "for preliminary games and Quarter-Finals in 2011" is very vague. Does it mean that Offaly will only get home advantage against Dublin next time they meet if its in a Prelim or Quarter?? So a semi would be in a neutral venue? Or does it mean that this arrange...

Re: Bad day for offaly hurling

Tullamore also beat Clonkill last year, what i am saying is Coolderry should hang there heads this evening as for blaming the ref coolderry shouldn't need the ref to beat Raharney. i have nothing again Coolderry as i said i will have a bit of crack with the Coolderry boys during the week, but Coolde...

Re: SHC Final

if sundays game was a boxing match the towel would have been threw in after 25 minutes Coolderry were that much ahead and better than tullamore, but fair play to tullamore and Shane Dooley bye making a bit of a game of it in the second half but only having one forward came home to roost for tullamor...

Re: SHC Final

For god sake lads will ye have some faith in offaly hurling everyone saying we will have no chance again the winners from kilkenny if we meet them stick up the white flag to them before we play them. Tullamore and Coolderry should take a leaf out of Birrs book or St. Rynaghs and go hell for leather ...

Re: SHC Final

Lads just seen where Portumna were beaten in Galway today with Ballyhale Shamrocks and portumna both out i think its a good chance for Coolderry or Tullamore to have a good run in the club championship . if Coolderry were to come out of Offaly i did they have the player's and forwards to go a long w...

Re: SHC Final

If Tullamore win this they will look back at the night James Keane’s suspension was lifted as the night they believed they would win it. Imagine the boost. The uncertainty of who would fill in – would there be a straight swop or a whole raft of changes – in what, for Tullamore is a crucial position...
