Hmm
I definitely like what you're thinking thwere with regard to entrance music. However I'd be inclined to take it a step further. Much like the resonance of "Uibh-Fhaile" when the chant gets going, I think the key is to leave opponents feeling uncomfortable rather than bombarded with noise. ...

No pressure at all.
Sure with such a fine role model within the club, and a family tradition and willingness to work at self-improvement, the boots will be filled in no time.

The National Anthem.
As with all good ideas, originated in a nightclub.
Much and all as I love Amhrán na bhFiann, I think the time has come for it to be replaced at the start of big matches. I would suggest House of Pain's "Jump around".
You'd be well into it from the start then.

Seeing as the paper was ambiguous, it should be stressed that this was my work. So all Shannonbridge based vitriol should be thrown in my direction.

And the preparation looked spot on and all. I'd say it was the cow's fault.

Good idea
Tis a good idea, but I'd fear for the administration of it. You'd end up with the fourth official having to do an awful lot of counting fouls for different people, and a whole load of mistaken identity issues. I actually think that the game will clean up as a result of this. Mr Farrell was a little ...

The summer
I can see what you're driving at with Quinn, and to be honest I'd like to see it work out too. Unfortunately I'm not sure if I believe it will. As I mentioned, his intelligent passing and delivery could see him being our MacDonald for the year, granted without the hair. As for Casey at corner back, ...

Don't know.
Slightly worrying that in the existence of competition I might be shown up and be exposed as just another random shunter with too much too say!! Twould be an interesting test though. Every contributor gets 1 point for each player correctly chosen on Feb 1st, same again on the 1st March, April, and M...

Leix vs Offaly report
Offaly vs Leix Report On New Year’s Eve this year, amidst the chaotic alcohol fuelled daze, Lone Shark sent a few text messages at the turn of the calendar relating to Offaly GAA, as you can imagine, there were very few tears in the eye to bemoan the passing of 2004. On Sunday we got the first glanc...

Re:
Look what happens when the poor yokes try to use something other than Galway jerseys that fell of the bus crossing the bridge in Athlone with their name tippexed on. Their fans will probably sue the county board for the emotional distress involved in being the worst looking shower ever seen in a cou...

Portlaoise it is. The Shark will be there, albeit a reduced size version!! Ye should be able to find us, so anyone coming along, let's see ye there, an do tell all and sundry to come and join the shark and put a bit of voice together. The last thing we want is for the players to be able to hear Kilm...

New Rules
I'd be happy with most of them - the injury and sin bin ones in particular. I'm less convinced as to the sideline puck rule, because I think it will encourage lads picking out a pass or dropping a ball into the box, but if the HDC are happy I'd be willing to give it a go. My only concern is that ref...
