Re: Kilcormac-Killoughey in Leinster - 2014
Where do I not give kk credit Sam? My first post complimented the effort and spirit of the team. I just said that in my opinion , and that's all, an opinion! Tj Reid owned the game, eg 1 Grogan blocks him down, he blocks down Grogan and whips the ball over the bar under thestand, eg 2 line ball, rri...

Re: Kilcormac-Killoughey in Leinster - 2014
Bit of a sweeping statement Sam. Tj Reid owned this game, from start to finish. Looking back now, yes Kk had their times when they controlled the game, but they hit a lot of aimless ball when a little composure was needed. Yes Ballyhale were applying pressure, but there was too many balls hit straig...

Re: Appearance Fee for a County Man?
Ah yeh, great lads here! Kilkenny and Kerry players know well which side their bread is buttered on, clubs and supporters are digging deep in order to pay for the team holidays and raising hundreds of thousands for training funds so they are well compensated for missing work, training weekends etc. ...

Re: Offaly Club Teams of the Year
I rest my case! D Mangan and L Brennan should have stood out but did not feature as prominently as would be expected. This is the beauty of these selections. Liam Brennan has gone back a long way and if he had been fit for the final, ironically ,they might have lost it, as to me he had a poor year b...

Re: Offaly Club Teams of the Year
Sur Jaysus we cant even get lads to post up the football team here, howld your whisssht on the hurling. On a side note Kaiser, what is your problem with the 2 Cappincur players being picked??, Cappincur would be favourites for this years Intermediate, and were very impressive at times in the champio...

Re: Offaly Club Teams of the Year
Lets face it, outside of Tierney and Comerford, Daingean had no forwards, midfield was well beaten in many games, and probably won on basis of being a bit more balanced with little star quality. Ballycommon would have bit more star quality, thus Coneely and G Mann were 2 who prob featured, plus thei...

Come on Townman, its well known out there why Pascal didn't take the job if you are in the know as you claim to be.
Best of luck to Begley in the job.

Re: minor hurling
County Board again Townman?, gobshite if you are going to use the term , should be applied to the ref, who has the final say on whether a game is played where weather conditions come into play. But Co Board deserve every criticism over the delay in this championship.
