Re: Offaly u20 2021

Well done to the lads against Westmeath tonight.

Should of won by 6 or 7, we were the fitter classier team but missed a lot of chances.

Another Leinster Final at this age group in 12 months, green shoots at underage for sure now.

We haven't gone away yet you know :D :D

Re: Offaly v Fermanagh

Some of these lads may never play in Croke Park again so more than likely wanted to have that experience which you cannot fault them for.

Re: Offaly Hurling 2020

Offaly 1.09 - Down 1.08 at Half Time

Miserable day in Newry for hurling. Let's start with the negatives:

Too much wayward shooting
Too many fouls
Hurling as individuals
No gameplan

Now on to the positives:

Re: Offaly Hurling 2020

Fennely mentioned in his post match interview that 9 players were left at home today as they could only bring 26.

Anyone know whom these 9 compromise of? Interested to see the full extended panel.

Re: Offaly Hurling 2020

Maybe, but I feel it shows that this management haven’t managed to get the best available players in the county to commit. And then when you do get the best players for a certain position i.e Goalkeeper, and leave him on the bench for the biggest game of the year it’s hard to have faith. What playe...

Re: Offaly Hurling 2020

Yeah I seen Brian Watkins not in the squad.

Shane Dooley ommitted too, I thought he was fit again after the football championship.

Anyone else?

Re: Offaly V Kildare 2nd round of LSFC

I thought the game was tomorrow evening at 5.30.p.m.

Just realised it's on Sunday and it's not a double header as far as I can see - strange time for a game considering the time of the year- its effectively under lights.

Re: Offaly Hurling 2020

while not out and about socially too much to know what is going on, I seen on Midland Tribune that Leon Fox, Mark Egan and Sean Dolan have left the Offaly panel for various reasons, Dolan in particular will be a huge loss as he was hurling as best as I ever seen with Rynaghs upto the post poned cou...
