Re: GPA and Cork Hurlers
I believe if any of the members of the Cork CB have any honour they should resign. They have lost the support of the clubs and they should let those same clubs now come up with a new board.

Re: One year on...
Agree with above. I would also question why the CB awarded the Intermeidiate final to shinrone last year when this club shamefully failed to fully co-operate withthem earlier in the year.

Re: A Disgrace
Whatever about personal weight training, no intercounty U-21 panel was allowed train as a group before March 1st. If you have solid evidence that the Kilkenny panel breached this rule for the past 8 weeks then report them. John you are wrong on that one. No minor training was allowed before March 1...

Antrim dropping a point to Westmeath was a good result for us as if we beat Antrim and then when we head to wexford we wont be looking over our shoulders at scoring difference should we loose to the yellowbellies. Its no harm to have a safety net in place

Re: Reeling In The Years 1
If we are referring to the Regan/Comerford encounter in the 1999 Leinster final? If so I seem to remember the both of them hitting each other with their hurls right in front of the new stands until Daithi broke his and then punched Comerford in the mouth. Don't know exactly what led up to that sequ...

Re: How to treat a match like Kerry
The best 15 available to play should start Sunday. For too long now players are given the offaly jersey that haven't earned it and other players making cheap excuses. Whether it be a leinster final or a div 2 national league game the best players should always play. This notion of resting players f...

Re: All-Ireland Club Semi-Finals
My money will definately be going on Portumna. I don't expect them to run away with it, but i think they have enough firepower to edge it and they re great odds for this game, infact i think i migh just back them fro the AI outright as i cant see the winners of this one not being crowned champions,...

Re: Under 21 Club Hurling Championship
I don't know what the draw is but i do know that on foot of a proposal at a county board meeting it was decided to seed the draw as there were some very one sided fixtures in last years championship

Re: SHC Draws
One solution would be for clubs to submit a championship list of say 18-20 players who played senior the previous year , and then any other players from the ranks below could play group games witout loosing their status. If they play in the knokcout then they become a senior. This is the kind of th...

Re: SHC Draws
The key to the new championships is to give players more meaningful games. It has been argued that we should have a knockout championship based on league placings, which would not be a bad thing, but then you would have to release county players for all league games. I think it would be unnaceptable...

Re: Richie Steps Down
If the next manager looses badly in the weeks ahead will he too face the chop. Remember with the closed season richie actuall only got 5 weeks. It must be a record. Its hardly as if the results were any worse than those at the end of last year so he should have been given some more time.

Do you mean at Inter-COunty or Club level?? now please tell me u aint going to come out and say he helped Clareen to a junior title. jesus chriest. As for the comment previous about dismissing...
