Re: Offaly GAA - in Crisis?
Utter disaster, one wonders is our down fall over the past 15 years due to incompetence on a county board. After Flanagans case it seems to be a case of we run the county board and we will decide everything. Big respect has to go to the players and management , committing to the cause even tho shit...

Re: Offaly GAA - in Crisis?
I have decided to open this thread just to amalgamate the chat relating to the issues of the last few months/weeks/days..... Is this going to go further or have we reached an all time low? I've a feeling that they'll make a bollocks of a couple of more things first, then we'll have arrived at that ...

It turns out, Flanagan did one, and the county board wouldn't publish it

Re: County Management Stability
Well, who do ye think will be the new manager?
Very harsh on Flanagan. I thought he should be kept for another two years, with his demands.

Re: County Management Stability
before this Shite gets out of hand and we end up in div 4 bouncing between div for next 10year again would an educated approach be considered.. Pascal's name is being thrown around 0 senior intercounty experience. Is it an option that pat would remain on and Pascal be a selector most good managers ...

Re: Be Disappointed but show the players respect
Well there's a s+c coach who earns 52000 (reportedly)a year from the county board who passed Eoin Carroll fit to play, when he wasn't, and according to a trustworthy source, Carroll could be facing a career ending injury. Also if a s+c coach was being paid that much, you'd imagine that the likes of ...

Re: Be Disappointed but show the players respect
Unfortunately, I don't see that anyone would be willing to take the job. Hopefully the county board don't make a mess of it by getting rid of Flanagan, and having no one to replace him. Personally I would give him another year or two to try and get us up to a higher standard, then if it hasn't worke...
