Re: Offaly Senior Team Progress
At least the footballers have some sort of tactics. Something that they can stick by and aim produce with 100% effectiveness sometime in the future. Our U21's have a grasp of it, bringing this to the next level what will matter in the heel of the hunt. Patience is key. Working these tactics from gra...

Re: OFFALY Hurling 2014
A good opportunity to play the younger lads with the older guys tying knots over the weekend. Congrats to our good stalwart
How did the game go? Seems a decent win with a very inexperienced side. Have we something to work with here..

Ollie Baker
Is Baker gone yet? You would think they would get in a new man sooner rather than later and let him see the lads play in the Offaly Club Championship. I think last year there was a few lads more worthy of a go in with the county judging on club championship, now is the time to be scouting. Offaly hu...

Re: Offaly Vs Kilkenny Leinster Hurling Championship
9 Senior clubs represented on the starting team. 1 Birr man.. No Rynaghs, Lusmagh and Drumcullan representatives. Is hurling gone that bad that side of the county. God be with the days.
Best of Luck. Come on the Faithful!!

Re: Intermediate Hurling
I wonder whats the feeling in Lusmagh on the intermediate final.. It seems like a lose lose situation either way!! Would they prefer a Brosna Gaels win and go down to intermediate OR being saved from relegation by their bitter rivals St.Rynaghs and suffer the torment of having the Rynaghs lads havin...

Re: Favourite club ground
Birr because of its great atmosphere and tradition attached - a shame what they have let happen to the pitch though Lusmagh has to be the best of the west, top-class playing surface and facilities - deserves more championship games Killavila because of the banter it creates when you arrive at the pi...

Re: Immigration of club players
I know I shouldnt react but I have to. There are actually quite a few from Coolderry that went from Ireland in the last year or two for varying amounts of time Damien Murray, Ray Murray, Stephen O'Connor, John Brady, Shane Hall. Kevin Teehan, Donnacha Tynan, Tomas O'Toole. 5 of those have been invo...

Re: Immigration of club players
Here is an incomplete, maybe inaccurate list of hurlers abroad but if we could expand this list with ye're knowledge there would would be the makings of strong county team... Football list would be interesting too.. Birr: Stephen Brown, Belmont: David Kenny, Coolderry: Clareen: Kevin Murry, Barry Be...

Re: Immigration of club players
This is going to affect every club to some degree. Any clubv that only loses one or two players will probably be ahead of the pack to be honest. Very true lone shark.. If you look at county champions Coolderry, they seem to be lucky enough to have a fairly homebound group off lads. I only know of o...
