Draws

I like both of these draws. I was hoping for Meath in football, with the winners to play Kildare, and Laois in hurling with the winners to play Wexford. Apart from getting W***meath instead of RealMeath it all came out nicely, and of course it'll be good to play a real high intensity match in the fi...

Game

AWW Man, and I'm just after buying the game online, got it for 32 sterling which is good tho. Ah well!
What are you going to play it on? I was going to buy a PS2 just for this game, but I'm having doubts now.

Declan Kelly

But is this Declan Kelly from Tullamore or Pullagh??
I told you that already. *sigh* Young lads never listen to their elders :)

Mac

Can I just say here that I also am an advocate of Mac as centre back. I'm not going to get into the stupidity of people blaming our best player for everything bad that happens, other than to agree with LS in that he takes too much on at times, especially when things are going badly, and this makes h...

re. Erin Rovers

re. Erin rovers, will there be an option to add white ankle socks inside the pair of Gola's? That'd make me buy a PS2. :)

Make sure they don't corner you in Gleeson's or somewhere. Very little room for escapes. :)

I knew i recognised Angelos alright. Couldn't pin it down.

As for the accents, I thought they were shocking apart from Shamie, Scobie and the Mother. The horse-face young one sounds like a pure sham, as BnM man said.

So if it's Banagher, what's with all the Dubs?

Lads, was that Banagher? I didn't recognise any of it. And what was with all the Dub accents if it was Banagher? When I was watching it I presumed it was Edenderry or somewhere with a high population of commuters.

At the moment the players they have just are better than ours Not all of them LS, and certainly not 31 points better, or even 8 points better. Maybe I am naive, but I think that in a skills contest our lads would have as much as most of the Kilkenny lads. Where we lose out to Kilkenny at the moment...

Lads, this argument is doing my head in. I actually don't think that the views are that diverse, but one thing that riles me is that Kilkenny are inherently better than us. Why? Why are lads that have won All Irelands with Birr worse than those with James Stephens? Of course the mental side of the g...

KK v Offaly

I'm going to weigh in here on the side of the optimists. The essential question was 'Is the Kilkenny defeat a positive for Offaly'. I believe it is. In Offaly we for too long in recent years have been prostrating ourselves on the altar of Kilkenny. It becomes a self perpetuating myth. We believe we ...

Tullamore

Has the work started in O'Connor park yet? If not, why? If so, why move it to Tullamore from Birr?
