A big loss but want to say thanks for the magic over the years.
Best of luck to you Joe!

Re: O’Byrne Cup
Good win on Saturday. Offaly were the better team throughout and some sloppy play led to Westmeath turnover scores in the first half. In the second half I was delighted with Offalys discipline in defence, where we didn't rush in and foul Westmeath and allowed them to shoot but the wind made it diffi...

Re: Kehoe Cup 2019/2020
Well done to team and management yesterday. We seemed to dominate the game but wides allowed Antrim to hang in. Let this be the platform, and push on now hard for the league. Good start for Fennelly and from listening on the radio the one thing that appeared to be the case was the workrate off the b...

Re: Kehoe Cup 2019/2020
Jeesus, I cant believe that anyone could think we would be better off staying in 2a of the league in prep for Joe McDonagh next year (assuming we win C Ring)!! Agree 100% with LS as would anyone that has played any level of hurling or football. Our best option is to get into 1B and have some quality...

Re: Divisional sides
It's amazing how this topic is put out every year around this time, usually when lads have nothing better GAA wise to be thinking about. If guys were serious about it then there would be a proper proposal of how this might work in reality. But in fairness, it is a topic that the County Board (or int...

Re: Senior A Hurling 2019
Of course it will be interesting or you wouldnt be here! Wasn't at the Rynaghs match but by all reports the ref was hard on Rynaghs in the first half, especially when Jack Nolan says it! Also they seemed to hit some very poor wides. Extra man finished the game as a contest as in fairness teams that ...

Re: Offaly Hurling 2020
Must have missed Michael's call, I'd fancy me chances against Sligo!! More interest in the League meself, can anyone post up who is in our division please? Hopefully lads do commit fully for this season, all joking aside, there is pressure on to come out of this division in the first go in order to ...

Re: Senior A Hurling 2019
Good atmosphere there for KK breakthrough, (what year was that?)
Also for Tullamore's win, what year again?
Anyway it's in Tullamore, so don't any of ye make the mistake of heading to Birr

2020 Leinster Championship
Carlow v Offaly in the first round.
Probably Portlaoise. Will be a good incentive with a rattle at Kildare for the winners.
But at least we can start saving now for the first round!

Re: Senior A Hurling 2019
Jayz , I'm torn on this one, I don't want to get caught up the SBP v OCP stuff now, as is irrelevant at this point with the match going ahead in OCP. But there were some epic battles in Birr with these 2! Hopefully there is a big crowd for the final in Tullamore, Birr wouldn't have a big following, ...

Re: Meeting In Tullamore
My guess is that in the main they have gone to the senior more high profile clubs who they know they need to get onboard and are engaging in diplomacy as opposed to democracy. Well Lone Shark, That's my point above, they are trying to gauge the appetite for change from a selection of people that the...

Re: Senior A Football 2019
Fair play for your bluntness Frank. Limited chance that any Offaly team will win a Leinster, but that won't be Ferbanes objective. Superb turnaround from earlier in the championship and would appear to be slight favourites for the final.# On Tullmans point, yes you have consistently stated that Cian...
