Just re-read the Indo articles from the aftermath of the 1998 LH final which are elsewhere on this site. I suppose what Keating said about such a thing not happening in a 'hurling' county could be true, in that coaching such as described therein wouldn't be tolerated in Kilkenny or Cork or elsewhere...

I agree with treasurer re Oakley's performances at full back. His future at full back depends on the alternatives. Interesting that O'Hara lined out last week. He strikes me at being good in the air (an alternative for CHF perhaps?) though struggles when the ball is below waist height. That looked a...

Ferbane U14's

Ferbane v Lusmagh was in 1985. Think Jimmy Hiney went on a scoring spree and it was no contest in the end, played on a hot Saturday evening in September. Another in the long line of 'tales of woe' for the small parish in underage finals.
