Clubs down under?
As yours truly has become the latest Offaly supporter to arrive to Oz, just wondering if any posters are down here too and more importantly, play hurling or football. I know there's a few GAA clubs here (I'm in Melbourne) but want to know which is the best. And for the Shark crew, yes I will be &quo...

Re: Offaly v Antrim, NHL, 19/4/09
Many thanks to blackandredexile for the text updates, very grateful indeed!! Good to hear the lads are still getting wins under their belts, maybe that loss against Wexford gave them a kick up the arse that they might of needed. Whats the news of Kenny's injury? We'd badly need some strenght in that...

Re: 2009 Leinster Fixtures
Did you take that picture yourself BnaM?? I've been in wexford park a few times. It's a great set up, just a bit it's so far out of the way of the other counties to have neutral games. Only thing is tho, that stand suffers from sub zero temperatures!! It's always in shade, as shown in the picture. S...

Re: Birr v Ballyboden - Leinster club SHC
Was at it myself too, and very very impressed with this Birr team. First of all, this was a massive step up from the County Final. Now, Ballyboden were very poor it must be said, they waster an awful lot of ball, we're very slow in picking up their men and had a sense of cockiness about them. The pa...

Re: New Proposed Airport for Offaly
It seems like a perfect option for Ryanair, call it "Dublin Tubber", fly all their flights to Tubber instead of Dublin and have connecting buses to Dublin charged at €20 a head. Tis the job!!

[quote="the rat"]Ithink Tullamore, Rynaghs and Ballinamere/Durrow are the only teams with away jerseys.[quote]
Yep our hurlers have all gold with blue trim and our footballers use maroon and white trim jerseys (which I think are fleeced off the Banagher Vocational school)
