Re: New Minor & Senior Hurling Management

Joe Dooley, Ollie Baker, and Brian Whelehan all had one thing in common when it came to intercounty management, They had no experince of training teams at that level, so to even consider Danny Owens would be complete madness. Look at what happpened to Padjoe Whelehan when he threw his hand at manag...

Re: Brian Gavin

its no wonder reffing is in such a state if Gavin is 'ne of the top hurling referees in the country' . even on sunday he left a raft of obvious frees go unpunished, the man has only a passing acquaintance wit the rules i suppose the ref was the cause of tipp yet again showing no belly last sunday f...

Re: Offaly Hurling Championships 2015

k/k to win it again don't think Rynaghs are any better than last year, where K/K have Kiely and maybe Dylan Murray to add to the side, Rynaghs still playing the hand pass game and are not scoring enough .

Re: Offaly vs Clare - 2015 Senior Hurling Qualifier R1

hard to see anything bar a double digit points defeat..anything under 10 would be a good result. i hope im wrong but clare are a good few levels above offaly at the moment.. anything under 30 would be a good result with the management we have at the moment. Losing Chris McDonnell and Stephen Egan l...

Re: Offaly vs Clare - 2015 Senior Hurling Qualifier R1

could be a 20 point plus win, when you seen what Galway beat laois bye, even Antrim who are in the Christy Ring cup next year beat laois. you can be sure Davy and Clare will want to lay a marker down this weekend.

Re: A few thoughts on Galway v Laois

Galway will murder them I was at Laois v Westmeath and Laois were terrible until the last 15 minutes when Westmeath stopped playing. have to agree they did after all lose to Antrim, beat Carlow by 2 westmeath 3 points, a poor offaly side and let it be knowing a very poor offaly team with no fight i...

Re: All-Ireland Football Qualifiers

Our record in the qualifiers is fairly horrific alright, but according to Townman and Exiled in Connaught we might as well put away the footballs now! "Sur Jaysus why would anyone want to have a cut at playing the Dubs in croke park?" I would hazard that chaps like ye played no serious le...

Re: Laois v Offaly – Leinster Hurling Quarter Final 7th Ju

Team for sunday James Dempsey. King, Shortt, N Wynne Parlon, Egan, Camon Ryan, Nolan P. Murphy, Currams, Joe Bergin Shane Dooley, James Mulrooney, Brian Carroll i take it Cillian Kiely must have a knock of some sort, hurl very well last week again westmeath in the under 21 game and is worth his pla...
