I believe the criteria was something along the lines that you were designated as a weak county if you hadn't won a provincial title in the previous ten years and hadn't competed in Division 1. Chino's miss was brutal - the side step was good though! Sean Casey could have been switched a bit earlier with Martin Gorman and I felt more use could have beeen made of Chops. Alan Mulhall was impressive enough, if only he had a bit more pace.

Having suffered from the Gilmore Groin myself and having undergone the surgery, it is possible to train etc for a period but surgery is your only man to get you back right. Roy was ready to come in on Sunday if summoned. He has been in great shape the last couple of weeks, scoring 1-4 for Rhode (with his overall contribution being first class) in some challenge game to scoring freely in training. Defo thought he should have been introduced before John Kenny.
