Re: Offaly Senior A Hurling Championship 2023
Also, the ability of James Gorman to contest the high ball in the goalmouth is a useful option for other forwards to feed off. Could Offaly U20s do something similar next year if the channels for the threaded ball to Screeney are blocked? I think James Gorman is overage for the 20’s next year……….

Re: Junior A Hurling Championship 2023
Ballinamere 0-13 Brosna Gaels 0-7 Birr 0-16 Gracefield 0-4 As predicted Ballinamere & Birr win the Junior finals today. Both teams were the best in their grade and deserve to go up. Interesting to see how both fare out next year Brosna Gaels never got going today. The missed goal chance in the ...

Re: Offaly Senior Football Team - Championship 2023
The appointment makes sense. Declan won't need to spend the same time learning the scene the way an outside manager would. This helps in the compressed county season calendar. On top of that, there are several players out there who can potentially return to the panel, and Kelly will also have a goo...

Re: Offaly Senior A Hurling Championship 2023
- K/K....What do you say here? In all my years I've never seen a hurling or football panel with anything like the depth their panel has this year. About 10 lads on the bench that are current or former county players. It'll be a massive failure if they can't get the job done and go all the way in my...

Re: Offaly Senior A Hurling Championship 2023
Big win in the for KK yesterday but Tullamore gave them plenty of it in the first half but result never really in doubt . Tullamore missed a great goal chance just before half time when they were 3 points down and that would have levelled it. Instead KK went straight down from the goal chance to get...

Re: Offaly Senior A Hurling Championship 2023
did shinrone get 2 late goals similar to last year to beat belmont? They had the game won by the time they got the second (of the 2 late) goals. I stand corrected but think they got the first goal to maybe level it and then got a few points quickly after that and no coming back for Belmont then eve...

Re: Offaly Senior B Hurling Championship 2023
Wins for Kilcormac, Lusmagh and Clodiagh Gaels. It could be argued that every game so far has been won by the favourites? Kilcormac and Clara the only game with a match report on the Offaly Express website. Anyone at either of the other games? Was at the Lusmagh Shamrock game. Lusmagh deserved winn...

Re: Offaly Senior Football Team - Championship 2023
I'm still here in OCP and it's a strange paradox - I've never seen an Offaly performance that was so lethargic, and yet been so sympathetic to the players afterwards. Simply put, these lads just ran through too many big emotional and physical hurdles all year, and trying to get up for the Tailteann...
