The Bare Biffo

Thanks for bringing this up. Particularly noteworthy for me is your mention of Martin Fitzpatrick in the half forwards. Martin is my second cousin. It is due to he and his extended family that I and my family are Offaly supporters today as opposed to Kildare, Galway, Roscommon, Sligo, Waterford, Tip...

Celtic Jersey

Saw the same exact Jersey at a festival in Hunter Mountain, New York on Saturday. The only difference was that it had 'Celtic' instead of Kerry on it.

Halftime 2 Points Down

The radioheads are talking about how Laois could have a few goals by now and that Offaly are lucky to be in the game at this stage.

We have the wind now. Hope we can make the most of it.

Kilmurray

Dublin are keeping quiet because they could couldn't care less about what Kilmurray says at this point. KK is just trying to see to it that the ref does not hand out yellows like they are 'free' passes to a go-go bar. He is right to influence whoever he can to see that it does not happen again. In a...

What the hell

I've been looking at this weekend since its been set and thought it looked dark, but now its the weekend and of course we will make Limerick wish they never made the journey and we'll silence the masses at Croker as well:

Offaly 2-13 Limerick 0-15
Offaly 2-9 Wexford 0-13

Amazing

Limerick have a decent league, could have beaten Tipp. Then this? I'd prefer two tough games against these two. I guess we'll have to wait and see. The way we've been playing lately, every game will be tough. Clare were 'not so good' but still won comfortably. I guess we'll have to see if that is me...

The rest of the qualifiers

'The Rover' - I hope you are right. Very surprised that we could not handle Dublin comfortably. A win is a win, but it sounds like there is not much to inspire tremendous confidence. On thing is for sure. If we can come through our group we be a heck of a lot better prepared for the QFinals then has...

Not Fair

Agree the system is not fair at all.

That stated, I'm glad we're in the tough group. Hopefully Sunday was just a bad dream. If we come through the group stage we can definitely say that we've improved.
