Kevin Kilmurray
From a distance, I am having a lot of trouble trying to figure out what Kilmurray is about or what his objectives are. He makes some very odd public statements. On Friday evening on RTE radio in a preview programme he said he had no blueprint for Offaly football, that he was just relying on individu...

Shooting
All good stuff AZ, but I can't help but think that players are being instructed to shoot at every opportunity, on the basis that the more you shoot the more you will score. It's not working because shots are being taken from rediculous positions that no amount of practice will improve. The point I'm...

Downhearted
Hate to be so pessimistic but looking from a distance, surely we're already gone back to pre 1980 standards. Just run through the names on those 80's and 90's teams and look at whats there now. I don't mean disrespect to the fellas there now but they are not really at the races with the Coughlans, D...

I'm sure Dr. O'Neill is one too, if maybe a little oversensitive.

Flaking
The most "memorable" bit of flaking I've seen has to be Daithi Regan and Andy Comerford going hell for leather in Croker.

Jimmy Grennan
Shark, whats the story with Jimmy Grennan ?
I guess at this stage he won't be starting, but can he make any impact coming on ? Is he fit?

Stats
Interesting Stats, but is it not valid to take account of the fact that Offaly have played Kerry, Mayo and Tyrone - the AI Champs, finalists, and the best team in the country at the minute. I think Dublin are the only others to have played all three and they are not all that healthy looking either. ...

First post here. Hope the site goes well for you lads/lassies. As for the tackle; I suppose a lot of the problem is that the rules were framed at a time when the emphasis was much more on moving the ball. Players werent as fit, and tended to deliver the ball long rather than run with it in hand. To ...
