Re: Killeigh and Killurin
Is the underage team Na Fianna made up of Killeigh, Killurn and Geashill? Do Geashill still have a adult team, if so would be great to see them join up with Killurn and Killeigh too and have it Na Fianna across all grades. On the note of Amalgamations in Hurling, there's a few other teams that you ...

Re: Championship Draws
With regard u21 champioship as far as I know is that the County Board want it played off but clubs are against it as the offaly u21s are in the hastings cup at the moment and a few are college tied. It was scheduled for this weekend but I think its been lined up for next weekend. Anyone any predicti...

Re: Killeigh and Killurin
Na Fianna underage (u8-u21) is made up of Ballinagar, Geashill, Killeigh, Killurin & Cloneygowan. Raheen is a football and hurling club that is made up of Geashill and Raheen. I dont know what way Killurin work with regard football, do they play with Killeigh? When it comes to hurling, as far as...

Re: Championship Draws
As far as I know its all 8 teams play each other once and then its 1v4 and 2v3 and bottom two in relegation final. Think this is ridiculous as there will be a lot of dead rubber games near the end and teams can afford to lose 3/4 games. Whats the point of that? I know it gives more games but just th...

Re: Offaly Club Teams of the Year
Fair enough HSM you make a valid point but, I think the Junior Team of the Year is fairly picked perhaps maybe Liam Brennan and Danny Mangan in there but, apart from them two it is quiet fair. Who do you reckon is in the shake up for next years Junior ? 2 horse race for me between Ballycommon and C...

Re: Strength and Conditioning Coach available
Depends, what are your qualifications? Have you any experience? Do you understand the strength and conditioning requirements for a GAA player - i.e. no point applying Rugby based strength and conditioning to a GAA Player as their requirements are more on building physique whilst a GAA player would r...

Re: Offaly Club Teams of the Year
Any truth in the rumour that Offaly are entering a team in the Leinster Junior Football Championship? Will it be made up of Junior/Intermediate players? Would many of these players get on the team. Think its a good idea as it can act like a feeder to the Senior team and unearth a few players. Matthe...

Re: Kilcormac-Killoughey in Leinster - 2014
4/1 for K/K is some price I think. Club hurling is a lot closer than county hurling. Think people think because its a Kilkenny team that they should have a given right to win. I'm not from a hurling area but have more of an interest in Hurling than football and although I dont get to many club hurli...

Re: Appearance Fee for a County Man?
there is a certain former offaly hurler who aint shy about asking for money even if it was to go 20 miles out the road . I wonder who that is!!! Think its ridiculous players asking for money to hand out medals. If I was a county player I'd be honored to present medals to young players. Fair...

Re: Transferring within the County
Thanks for all the replies. I am by no means going looking for glory with a better team. My original club would have got the better hand of future club regualry. I won't delve too much into it but one of the reasons I am moving but it's quite complicated and I have family involved in the background ...

Transferring within the County
Long time reader, first time poster. Just wondering can any posters help me. I'm not going to name any clubs involved, but anyway. I played football all my life with a village in Offaly. But about 10 years ago when I was still juvenile I moved to the next town which is about 10 miles away. I still p...
