Re: Ruislip, Sunday 3rd February. Anyone heading over?

Yes they beat Fermanagh in a qualifer a few years ago. This would be their first Connaught championship win in over 30 years.

Re: offaly minor footballers

Every lad on this forum is mad for setting up commitees and drawing up 5 year plans. You can have all the paperwork and commitees ya like but if we dont have the talent we wont succeed. Plain and simple we have a small playing base to work with. We will have the odd success but that can only be occa...

Re: Why

Fairly hard on the lads, but surely they are entitled to the odd bit of socialising. Players need a life outside of training, after all its not a professional sport. Commitment to county level is savage so the odd slip up is inevitable.

Will they be back for the Kildare match?

Re: Offaly starting team to face Kilkenny

Despite fifitrixiebelle's confidence I fear there are only two outcomes for this match: 1. Offaly hurl reasonably well against a lethargic KK team who eventual pull away in the second half and win comfortably by 9 or 10 points. Offaly leave with a little restored pride and a few what ifs and so on. ...

Re: Offaly minor Hurlers 2013

Could someone list out the team in fathers and families format? Like this: 1 Son of 2 Nephew of 3 Brother of So I can pass comments like; "He runs like his father" "He's a dirty bollix like his uncle" "He's as yellow as his brother" Really, I don't care so much about t...

Re: Allianz FL Division 4 2013

Jayz lads, its directions to Croker we need rather than dimensions!! Directions! We should record a single and release it for the occasion. "Que sera sera, whatever will be, will be. We're going to Dublin 3, que sera sera". We could do a Put me under pressure Italia 90 remix. Instead of s...

Ciaran mcManus is 1/8th Westmeath. This has nothing to do with ancestry, the man ate a fecking Moateman.

jamserdolan

Whats after happening to Jamsey? Come back Jamserdolan all is forgiven.
I found his insights on Doon, Ferbane, Rynaghs and Shannonbridge extremely profound and thought provoking.
Lets hope he comes back with more thoughtful input into the forum.

Re: shannonbridge /doon

I was talking to a cousin of a friend of a lad who foots Donnie Ryan's turf and he said that Jimmy Saville was at it the whole time but the authorities turned a blind to it.

Fargo Boyle,

FYI, that's not the NFL!
A whole heap of homos jumping on top of each and feeling each other up while pronouncing the word "route" incorrectly. Seems fairly faggy to me either way

Re: o byrne cup / walsh cup

This is the place to try out night-time fixtures too - not in the Leinster championship. Admittedly AIT tend to be poor enough in this and wouldn't draw a crowd the same way a game against Laois or Westmeath would. Ah I wouldnt be too sure about AIT not being able to draw a crowd, Lone Shark. LSU &...

[quote=Use just one set of goal posts and play '3 and in'.[/quote] Where I came from we called that "World Cup". Many a long summer evening did we play World Cup with my Italia 90 branded ball. Alway the same lad used to come last. I think his name was High School Musical but its so long a...
