Re: Football League Division 3 2014

Didnt think Anton Sullivan was due back until March, encouraging to see him start and indeed score a point. Long term you would hope he would stay injury free and add more potency to that full forward line. With him and Niall Mc inside as finshers you would imagine Offaly can put up respectable scor...

Re: 2014 WALSH Cup

If the county board decided to spread the Football Gospel to the 'Hurling Heartland' and Edenderry were fixed to play a Senior County qtr or semi final in Birr against say the like of Ferbane, Clara or Ballycumber I would defintely travel the 40 miles to St Brendan's Park. No problem. I would grumbl...

Re: 2014 WALSH Cup

Jesus wept. As far as i can see O'Connor Park is a first class provincial ground. The spectator facilities are top drawer, the dressing rooms are excellent and for my money it is one of the best surfaces i have had the privilege of playing on. As a county we should be proud of O'Connor Park and deli...

Re: 2014 O'Byrne Cup

Lets treat the O'Byrne Cup for what it is - an early season warm up tournament that is good grounding for the league and subsequent championship. A bit of focus on the areas we were poor on, and rightly praise the areas we were good on. If our best player and captain decides to write in his spare ti...

Re: Championship Odds

My guess:

Durrow 7/4
Shamrocks 11/4
Capincur 7/2
Ballyfore 6/1
Kilcormac/Killoughey 7/1
Shannonbridge 9/1
Doon 16/1
Bracknagh 25/1
I can see this post been pinned to the door with a rusty nail of the bracknagh, doon and shannonbridge dressing rooms!
8) 8)

Hard to understand then why that game was re-organised? Was there anyone else involved?
