Re: Offaly Hurling 2020

nothing wrong with discussing the lads who have opted out, some here no doubt will want to, fair enough if you dont want to, I know more than the Kielys are huge losses in their own way I know, but they are in particular given they were both more than likely to be on starting teams, and Cillian bei...

Re: Club Managements

What I meant when I agreed in my previous post was that 1. I agree with the assertion that Shinrone are a long way off competing for a county championship 2. I disagree that they have gone backwards - They have clearly stayed the same over the last number of years. Consistent quarter finalists and ...

Re: Club Managements

Trevor Fletcher is over Shinrone an interesting one again, I thought Shinrone were even a little ahead of Belmont at one stage over the last year or two, but they had a bad QF defeat to Birr where all the old failings showed again, be it they shot something like 17/18 wides so that would say they h...

Re: Senior A and B Hurling Championships 2020

I have been very disappointed with the standard of hurling in the games i have watched this year. I cannot see anything other than a Rynaghs v KK final. Both seem to have been operating within themselves to date and are assured of topping their groups with one match to spare. I expect Birr and Belmo...

Re: Senior A and B Hurling Championships 2020

Predications for weekend: Birr v KK Rumours are that Birr have being performing well in recent challenge matches. KK will be looking for revenge following last years semi final defeat. I fancy Birr to win by 3 points Birr 1-17 KK 1-14 Shinrone v Ballinamere Ballinameres young team will be a year old...

Re: Senior A and B Hurling Championships 2020

I genuinely can't see where all this faith in Shinrone is coming from. Like, they will have to beat St Rynagh's or Belmont in a de facto knockout game to make semi-finals. You know the same St Rynagh's team that are current county champions and the current Belmont team who have qualified for the la...

Re: Covid-19 & Championship-20

Spain most definitely will not be included on any green list of countries that may be issued next week given the current levels of the virus in Spain. It would be negligent of any club to play any player that has not adhered to 14 day quarantine guidelines.

Re: Offaly Hurling 2020

I dont know full story with game, wasnt at it, but listened to it on R3...two schools of thought, you can say Cillian got sent off (again) which is correct, listening to the build up I am going to say he did his living best to stop the attacker going through, it did lead to a goal so he obviously s...

Re: Senior A Hurling 2019

Predictions for the quarter finals Birr v Shinrone Although Shinrone have been performing well lately, they have been known to have a mental weakness in getting over quarter finals. Whether this has changed wont be known until 6.30pm on Saturday evening. The open space of OCP should suit the Shinron...
