Re: 2015 Walsh cup
Agree townman......ryan and Wynne will be by- passed......and as bad as that might be it will be worse if tom carroll goes there. ....i woukd like to see Egan get a run at centre back on the condition that he shows a lot more interest than he did for FerbaneBBelmont in last year's championship . I w...

Re: 2015 Walsh cup
While i would wish the lads selected all the best for tomorrow and the year ahead I have to say thatI doubt Iif anyone other than the current manager could have come up with that starting 15 for tomorrow. ....who is going to win any ball in that forward line??? Sometimes one is lost for words,,,,, o...

Re: Offaly Hurling Panel 2015
I seem to recall the current manager stating after last year's inter county chanpionship that he would go to the Offaly CountyChampionship games and woukd form his panel based on the performances of players in the county championship.....dont know what championship matches the confidant binman was a...

Re: Offaly Hurling Panel 2015
Absolutely right Sam......but in spite of this and his incredibly poor performance last year......the county board give him a second year.....and, maybe even more ncredibly, he takes the second year......can the man not see he is out of his depth. Seeing as Damian Fox is already in there, I say, giv...

Re: Offaly Hurling Panel 2015
Sorry but I am not at all convinced.......you woukd have though that by now he would have it all worked out.....and be able to communicate it.....it seems to be more about him than the players. On a related note....why was there no Offaly player photographed at the launch of the Walsh Cup and yet th...

Re: Rhode in Leinster - 2014
I think the last few posts sun it up well......and despite the positive talk coming out of Rhode jin the lead up to the game, I think it was obvious from the tactical set up that they were in awe of Vincents.....on another point, I thought the referee was very poor......now I am not blaming the refe...

Re: Strength and Conditioning Coach available
Coukd not agree more Sam......Jimmy Dunne is very under rated (almist goes unnoticed) outside of KK, but he plays a huge part in the whole set up

Re: Kilcormac-Killoughey in Leinster - 2014
Absolutely gutted to have lost that match yesterday.....but KK can have no complaints.....it was just one of those days when the frees did not go over for Ciaran Slevin..... but Ciaran, and none of the other guys, owe us anything. Everybody talks about their physicality and often overlook their hurl...

Re: Kilcormac-Killoughey in Leinster - 2014
Speaking to a few Bennettsbridge lads in Tullamore today at the Shamrocks match and they are certainly not convinced that Ballyhale will win......their concensus was tthatthe Ballyhale back line was weak and that theBallyhale half forward line spends a llot of time back in their own half protecting ...

Re: Kilcormac-Killoughey in Leinster - 2014
Lone shark......i was making the point that, while Ballyhale are a fine team, they are not unbeatable....nor do they have the same presence as, say, the Birr team of the late 90s early 00s who won 3 out of 4.....and I believe KK are mote than capable of holding their own.

Re: Kilcormac-Killoughey in Leinster - 2014
On paper Ballyhale look a great team....but the achievements ddon't support this. 2 county championships in the last 5 years and 3 leinster club titles in the last 25 years. For a team as allegedly gifted a as they are thiswoukd appear tto be a serious under - achievement. I have no doubt KK will tu...
