Re: offaly senior football team 2012
Midland Tribune stated that Sean Ryan is concentrating on hurling this year, which is good news for hurlers. He was a little unlucky with footballers over last few years!

Re: leinster club hurling
As a Kinnitty man it is not too often that I would attend a game where I'd be supporting our neighbours Coolderry, but that was the case today as I headed over to Parnell park. It was a really enjoyable game and good value at €10 in. However €2 for that programme was ridiculous. Reasonable crowd at ...

Ireland v Scotland Hurling/Shinty Match
I have to say I really enjoyed the game on TG4 today. I saw some of last week's game as well, but didn't get to watch it all properly. Ireland were by far the better team last week at home but only won by 5 pts in the end. Today Scotland were the better team but somehow Ireland managed to win. Plent...

Meant to say. I flicked to Armagh - DOWN GAME DURING HALF-TIME OF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE and the difference between that and Offaly game was huge. Different class1

Re: offaly hurlers (great effort)
Well done today. Realistically was as good as we could have hoped for considering our injury situation. 1st half was poor hurling until Offaly put in a decent last few minutes. 2nd half was better standard but for a while we we were totally outclassed. Even though Derek Molloy was harshly sent off, ...

Re: Offaly Team to face Wexford in Leinster Football Championshi
I was disgusted leaving O Connor Park yesterday evening. I drove down from Dublin expecting Offaly to win or at least be in a tight match. It was a great Leinster draw but last night was a nightmare and we fell badly at the first hurdle. For me Mulhall, Scott Brady, Niall Smith and Niall McNamee wer...

''Brady injury causing concern Dublin's Tomas Brady 10 May 2011 Dublin full back Tomas Brady could miss the start of the Leinster SHC after injuring his knee during a club training session at the weekend. The Na Fianna clubman underwent a scan yesterday - the results of which the Dublin management a...

Re: Senior hurling championship
Kinnitty v Coolderry - Kinnitty. Coolderry deserve to be favourites but I'm not going against my own club. Also Kinnitty usually raise their game for Coolderry (I know last year's county semi-final was a nightmare for us) A good start for Kinnitty is vital as confidence will be brittle. James Rigney...

Re: Offaly v Kilkenny 17-04-11
Bord na mona man i wouldn't say there was much panic in kilkenny when they didn't win minor or under 21 in 2000, they had won every minor from 1990 to 1999 thats 10 in a row plus 6 under 21 titles and won all irelands in 90, 94,99, under 21. offaly won the minor and under 21 in 2000 but kilkennys m...

Re: division 2 next season
Dublin qualifying for the League Final is as good a result as Offaly could have hoped for and god willing if they could win it hurling hysteria in the capital would go through the roof. Just the kind of scenario where no team likes to find Offaly lying contently in the long grass. Hugely disappoint...

Re: Offaly v Kilkenny 17-04-11
Very much agree with Plain of the Herbs on Offaly game. Really it is our best chance in years away to KK in league, team positioning is vital for it. Sunday is going to be an anxious day for us! Would be good to see Dublin beat Cork and reach final if Galway don't win. But Galway are under fierce pr...

Re: Offaly vs Waterford NHL Round 6 03/04/2011
That KK team that played Dublin on Sunday and even Waterford the week before are beatable. Offaly should not fear them and tear into them. KK are obviously still hot favourites and Cody will fire those young lads up to get to a league final, but Offaly would be in with a shout if they go to Nowlan P...
