Re: Hoganstand.com
Not entirely true. I like to add my two cents to that site, when a good thread is on the go. I'm too lazy to start one though. So Fargo, maybe you should think of a good topic and it might get going. As the great Jim Morrison said, "Start the thread, and they will come"..................or...

Re: Interview with Jody Gunning
Do you think Rhode should have beaten Kilmacud Crokes or what went wrong? 'Well I think perhaps we weren't physical enough body wise. I think we weren't big enough in certain areas and Kilmacud are a very big strong team. I think when Mark Dunne went out of it in midfield after twenty minutes that'...

Re: Interview with Jody Gunning
Shirt-pulling should be legalised. In fact I think we should see more of it on the field. Its one of the most manly things that a player can do out there. High-fielding, the chip pick-up, a shoulder to shoulder challenge, kicking off both feet and shirt-pulling, these are the real skills and qualiti...

Re: Interview with Jody Gunning
Ha ha, he has no idea what he's saying. Its black one minute & white the next. Good interview to read, but poor Jody is spouting a load of muck. Make up your mind man!!!! I also agree with that point about older lads rubbishing players of today too. Some of them seem to think that they were the ...

Re: Offaly vs Westmeath 2011 Leinster U21 football championship
It really is disappointing, especially after hearing Longford overcame the royals in extra time. That would have been a nice semi-final draw. Longford have been doing quite well at underage recently or have you forgotten that? 2 Leinster minor titles in the last few years. Typical, we lose and are ...

Noel Andrew Graham not starting!
I'm slightly surprised.
How is this team looking? Are they poised for a good run this year does anyone know?
We've struggled at this grade for a long time now....

Re: 1998 Offaly v Clare
Fargo, theres a few club sides around that still go in for that particular cavalier approach. A lot of them close by to where you appear to be from too!!! A puck around (kick-about) on a sunday after a serious nights worth of porter is very much commonplace. Doubt there'll be too many teams ever aga...

Angry angry man there. I know this by his use of capital letters.
I dont like it. Anger that is. Or capital letters.
So as the great Lenin once said (he probably didn't say it), "Crush Capitalism!!".
Or maybe that means something else...........
Also, fair play to the cricketers.

Re: Limerick vs Offaly
The 2 points were the important thing here. If we can get something out of Louth in Drogheda then I'd fancy us for promotion. But I think Louth will have too much for in 2 weeks. That wouldn't rule us out entirely though, because we'd have 2 very winnable games against Tipperary & Waterford to f...

St. Michaels 1-7 St. Colemans 1-5 Not a great game, not a poor game either. Strong wind out. Michaels were 5 points up at the half having had the benefit of the wind. Colemans rallied a bit in the 2nd half, but went out with a bit of a whimper in the end. When they were a point down with 5 or 6 mins...
