Barring that, we are the Faithful County and we have proven that nothing is impossible...as you already know.

Looking forward to the read.

Will be busy Sunday and will miss this one. I expect Kilkenny to take 15 minutes to deal with some physical stuff and then to fight right back with too much force and skill for Limerick to deal with. A 10 point win. Wouldn't mind being proven wrong but for me it comes down to: The best manager and t...

Tendered resignation???? Was this some kind of soft resignation or resignation with conditions? I mean what the hell? How this was met with anything other than something along the lines of: We're sorry to hear of your decision, but we respect your wishes. Thank you very much for your considerable ti...
4) Goes all out to win every league game by at least 10 pts, no mercy.
I think this is key. If we are beating them by 10 we should let loose the young ones to tear into it right to the final whistle. I'm not into embarrassing anyone, but we need hot competition for places. I know t...

If I remember correctly John Troy was incorrectly penalised for a pick up and instead of a likely Offaly score it was Cork that scored next.

Or maybe I remember through a tricolour tinted haze.

The haze did not affect your vision Bare Biffo. It did happen and it really hurt our cause.

Taken From Hogan Stand

Latest betting news 08 August 2007 6th August 2000 – Offaly 0-19, Cork 0-16. This Sunday will be seven years and six days after that famous semi final when the formbook was turned on it’s head and the expected Cork vs Kilkenny All Ireland final failed to materialise. Obviously none of those players ...

Any interest in this? Taken from Hogan Stand: Kilkenny v. Wexford - Guinness SHC semi-final A repeat of the Leinster final may not have been to everyone’s liking a few weeks back, but Wexford’s performance against Tipperary has given the county a renewed hope and more importantly restored pride in t...

Hey Gang, Just wanted to get a few thoughts on the Waterford/Cork game. Was pulling for a Waterford win here and really believe they completely blew it. In the first half we saw Mullane beating his man to every ball put into space and Shanahan doing something dangerous every time he touched the ball...

Like reading on the site but it seems that Offaly Future is getting a right slating. Not really sure why, as he seems to have a lot of good points. Plain Of Herbs, Lone Shark, Bord na Mona Man, Treasurer. Why does every time somebody makes good points you have to go and gang up on them. This sort o...

Let's just go out and win the damn thing. We should go out with a point to prove. That we will win, that we expect to win and can follow through on that. We despearately need to re-establish our tradition of winning. If that means we need to play in the tin cup against moderate competition then so b...

Tipperary 2-17 - Offaly 2-13

Got back in time to catch the last 10 or so minutes on radio. Sounded painful. Interested to hear what happened through the match. Leaving the last score out of it. Did Murray's 110 yard free near the end really have the distance and just go wide (according to the commentators)? Good to see we kept ...
