Back to reality, played well in first half just couldn't find the scores our hard work deserved. Limerick found the scores far easier and won about 14/15 battles all over the field, i thought Ben Conneely did very well. Lack of scorers concerning. Just seen a clip on YouTube with a preview of the National Leagues and Derek Mc Grath stated he was hugely impressed by the whole approach from Offaly.

Of course we should be targeting a win, when has Offaly ever feared Dublin in hurling?

A concern i believe management would have is our second half performance in terms of scoring, which i think we need to put right against the likes of Dublin.

Good to hear Cillian Kiely is back in training, this should further enhance the dogfight for positions on the team.
