Re: Ollie Baker
I've heard that from a Kilkenny man a fortnight ago who'd be in the know hurling wise and a Killeigh man who golfed with him this week. No experience I accept but it'd be a great appointment in my eyes. Which means it'll never happen.

Re: Ollie Baker
Eddie Brennan wants the job. A man who battled under Cody for so long. I'd take him in a heartbeat.

Re: Who will the county football championships
Determination was only a choice of words. I meant they're fitter and better prepared than any Clara team ever. What needs to be remembered is Edenderry caught Clara in 2011 on a dreadful wet day. After Clara had hopped off Rhode by the same margin as the 2012 final. All credit to Edenderry on their ...

Re: Who will the county football championships
Might be biased but cant see past Clara. Really cant. Huge determination this year. 5/2 is a huge price in my opinion.

Re: LSFC v Kildare
Look lads we shouldn't be celebrating a 4 point defeat, BUT... I was not happy but content walking out of the Cusack Stand an hour ago. They were not better footballers than us, not by a long way, but their fitness told after 50 mins. Even still Offaly didn't lie down. We were dominated for periods ...

Re: Allianz FL Division 4 2013
Minimum requirement for McDonnell had to be promotion considering the draw for the Championship. That has been achieved and credit has to go to him, his backroom team and the players. It looked dead and buried after the Clare game. It'll be great to get into Croker contesting a trophy again. Div 4 C...

Re: Allianz-Hurling-league 1B
I was sat behind the Offaly subs yesterday and I couldn't help looking at Paul Cleary. He should have been out there. I'd totally agree that Mooney and Carroll going in meant we were finally competitive around the middle of the field. So much for Baker to work on, probably too much. Why have we none...

Re: All Ireland Club Hurling Championship 2012-2013
Get this Fifi idiot off this site. Currams was a huge, huge loss. I felt the bookies had their odds totally wrong and when Daniel got injured I think the odds suddenly became appropriate. He would have scored from play and would have no doubt been the difference. Very hard luck in that regard. The f...

Re: Allianz-Hurling-league 1B
We were blessed to get a win here. Carlow had a few chances to go 5 points clear and missed them. It seems Carlow dont have the experience and belief to close these games out. The longer it went on it was as if Offaly knew the goal we needed was going to come. Mulrooney was ineffective and behind hi...
