Seven minutes late for Tullamore, got caught behind a funeral between Mountmellick and Killeigh, only for that we would have made the start comfortably, thank god for the motorway

Re: Offaly Hurling Panel 2011 - Thanks
Very well said POTH and GDFTP, fair play to ye, as a supporter I felt so sorry for the guys today and you could see after the game how defeat had torn their hearts out, they were magnificent with all the obstacles that were threw at them over the last few months. Roll on 2012.

It's going to be tough old week on the oul Diesel, Parnell Park Thursday night, Cork Saturday morning, back to Tullamore Saturday evening and finally back to Kilcullen Saturday night, Jaysus I hope it's worth it that we get at least one win when darkness settles on Saturday night

Offaly V Monaghan, SFC qualifier, 25/6/2011
Suppose I better kick this one off, impossible to know which Offaly team will turn up, the Offaly from last July that pushed Down to the edge of the cliff or the outfit that lay down their arms to retreat after Wexford's second goal four weeks ago, ya would hope after the soap opera of the last week...

Re: easy side of the draw

Re: The Camogie thread 2011
Seeing that people in the County won't come out and support our hurlers and footballers id say the chances of getting support for a camogie game are fairly remote.

Re: 11 Years today
Two things that stood out for me was Vinny Claffey's 4 points and a sensational performance from Finbar Cullen, I was convinced after this victory that Offaly would have taken Leinster but of course the Lillies put paid to that

Re: Hurling Qualifier Draw
That's three trips to Leeside in 16 months, talk about the rough end of the stick :( And no matter where the footballers are playing on the same day it will be nearly impossible to make one to the other even if the times are well apart, anywhere the footballers will be in action will be a journey fr...

Re: Offaly Team to face Wexford in Leinster Football Championshi
Magpie you make an excellent point but this carry on has been the norm since Tommy Lyons left, what you are talking about is getting a very big personality who will command the utmost respect from a panel of players and with that you are talking about big money being spent on getting this person in ...
