Re: Gerry Cooney steps down as Offaly Manager
I hope that the 5 man committee set up to pick Gerry Cooney are f**ked out of the County aswell, they were some gobshites. The county board also have alot to answer for, they must be laughting their heads off in Kildare and the rest of Ireland, Kildare could afford to put out their junior team again...

Re: Offaly v Sligo
And why they are bringing in these rubbish footballers from Dublin is another problem. They are offering nothing only a mindset that theres no talent in the county. Would be far better off drafting in a few more u21 players and giving them experience. They couldnt be any worse than Boland and Hanam...

Cooney, who has been in charge of the Faithful County for only four months,...

Re: U21 Football Management
Was chatting to a few Kildare lads at dinner time and they expect to win easily tonight. They said that Kildare were training hard since well before Christmas for the u/21 and have an exceptional side this year, well we'll see tonight. I went in to PP's and took the 6/4 for Offaly to win. Best of go...

Re: Another crisis in Offaly football
They would'nt give the right man the job 'Stephen Darby' so f~~k the lot of them, we should pull out of the leinster like Kilkenny do because Kildare will kick them back to Offaly. This must be the worst team in our history, Rhode would put up a better showing than this lot.

Re: Offaly v Longford National League
) We have a number of young players making their debuts, Anton coming back from a long lay off, and also a new management 2) Longford are a 4 years into a management team, and have a cohesive structure in the background, we dont have a structure. don't agree with this at all, what the hell have we ...

Re: Offaly v Longford National League
Lads what I need to ask is 'what were we doing over the winter, f'~~in nothing, we must be the most unfit team ever to leave the county, i would honestly say that the only team we might beat at present is Kilkenny, shocking stuff, we have not improved since the Kildare match, there are lads on the O...

Re: o byrne cup vs kildare
So of an experimental lineout in the O'Byrne Cup, nine of the 15 are "worth holding on to". That's a good ratio, in my book. Jesus, what match were you at, name the nine that are worth holding on to, as I see it the goalie and maybe 4 of the backs, midfield was brutal and as for the forwa...
