I go for Birr and St. Rynagh's at the weekend. They were the best of the winning quarter finalists in my opinion.hurleyman wrote:Well Lads,

They can. Rhode won yesterday, but didn't play well. If Gracefield had another forward they would be in the final.kingscounty wrote:Well Ferbane , great for Offaly football , but they now need to go on and win it , not an easy task but nothing to lose go out and give it everything!!

They would attend.greenairfield wrote:What if we held an Offaly football game in Birr or Banagher how would clubs north of tullamore feel?
Also it takes shinrone/killvilla/Coolderry supporters 15 minutes to get to Birr add 30+ to tullamore it seems unfair.

Mick McDonagh in Montrose
I saw the great Mick in the audience for last night's UP FOR THE MATCH. Offaly jersey in a sea of Red, Green and Blue.
Wonder if he made it to Copper's afterwards?

Re: Offaly Club Hurling C'ship 2016
I'm still not of the opinion that OCP should be guaranteed the county hurling final. If the attendance of SBP can be brought to 6,600 then it should be adequate. And as for making it all-ticket, that shouldn't be an issue. Every game in OCP is all ticket in that you have to go to the ticket window ...

I'd recommend this to anyone who struggles to find pitches by the way. I end up covering games across five different counties so it's an absolute Godsend to me. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.androidProjects.personal&hl=en Much appreciated. Absolutely fantastic app. Installed...

[quote="Sharp Eye"]The work carried out by Birr Club on St Brendan's Park is excellent. St Brendan's Park should have hosted more of the senior hurling championship group games this year. St Brendan's Park should be given both Co Senior Hurling Semi-Finals with the final being given to O'C...

id give the boys from the whest a good chance, they seem to have no fear of the dubs[/quote
Time to show that on Sunday. It' s last chance for some of the Mayo players.

Self praise no praise an all but tink my predictions spot on if say so myself. Rynas best team, F. Forde best manager n best squad will not be stopped. Wynne, Quirke and Hernon to come back. Re: New Offaly Management/Panel Members for 2017
Why not consider Anthony Cunningham for the post of hurling manager, he would be a good choice if he was interested? I am not convinced by an internal candidate, regardless whether if it is for cost reasons, surely the quality of manager is the critical factor. Whoever gets the job will come in at t...

Re: Offaly Club Hurling C'ship 2016
Depending on the draw, a Birr v Rynagh's final would be a classic. It would be competitive.
For a romantic final it would be Shinrone v Seir Kieran, with Shinrone claiming their first county title. This however depends on the draw, and the teams winning their games at weekend.

Greenairfield - ''If they only hurl ok'', now thats confidence. I give Belmont the best chance of an upset at the weekend. 21/10 in paddypower and a good bet in a two horse race. K/K will be using the league result a couple of months ago as extra motivation and should get over the line. St Rynaghs ...

I think the weekend of 24th/25th September. That is 4 weeks after the group stages were completed, a long period between games.biffinbanner wrote:when are the semi finals on i wonder?
