you would wonder if they are focused on going far in leinster or happy to just get over the line winning the county championship.
I'd say there is an attitude of giver it a rattle versus the fact of lets go win this.

Re: Offaly Hurling 2020
Must have missed Michael's call, I'd fancy me chances against Sligo!! More interest in the League meself, can anyone post up who is in our division please? Hopefully lads do commit fully for this season, all joking aside, there is pressure on to come out of this division in the first go in order to...

Re: Offaly Hurling 2020
I heard in OCP yesterday Michael Fennelley was in contact with players and training game 1st November in Faithful Fields. Be interesting to hear whom he called in.

Re: Offaly Hurling 2020
I'm actually disappointed with the fixtures. Purely from a personal point of view. Was quite happy when I seen the group we were in, but was really hoping for an away trip to Sligo and Derry. And hopefully make a weekend of it. But alas home fixtures for both of these. A trip to Aughrim just isn't ...

Re: Senior A Hurling 2019
Two enjoyable game in ocp today, birr got a great start but I think St rynagh bench was the difference, horan and Quirke make a huge impact, Ben connelly was massive when the battle was at its peak as was Sean Dolan,I thought birr could have got a free late on but St rynagh experience got the job d...

Re: Senior A Hurling 2019
Would love to see two groups of 4 with finalists and semi finalists seeded from this year. Top team to semi, next two to quarter and bottom in each to play relegation final. That was the proposal but clubs voted against it on the reason of only having 3 championship games. I see they proposing to m...

It will be a battle of the backs and I can see Birr winning as there back 6 has been superb.
i have to go with rynaghs by 5 or 6 at least.

Re: Intermediate hurling 2019
However I think, and I could be mistaken on this, that if Seir Kieran win the Intermediate final they won’t be permitted to enter the Leinster Junior championship as only a club’s first team can enter these competitions. Correct and right.. Clara will play in Leinster. Game is supposed to be fixed ...

Re: Senior A Football 2019
Rhode to do what they have never done before (I think!!) and win 4 in a row. not for me. strong possibility of a draw (make a few quid off paddy power), but i think ferbane will be a year stronger and wiser. Rhode have had the easier route to the final. Ferbane are going for 4 in a row also. Have b...

Re: Meeting In Tullamore
This debate will go on forever and a day. The way I see it. Being from Belmont it would suit me to travel to Birr to see a game. But would not stop me going to see it in Tullamore. If this is the reason for moving it back to Birr. Why? and in general why? OCP is now the home of Ofally GAA, not Tulla...

Re: Offaly Hurling 2020
Very good and strong mgt team. They'll get everyone back this year. No one is going to want to miss out on the next 3 years with this mgt team. Everyone is a strong statement! They might not want everyone and inter county is a huge commitment and some lads might not see themselves given that to mgt...

Yes to all above. Good selection in my opinion. A promising start.Keyser Soze wrote: ↑Tue Oct 08, 2019 11:06 pm Is that Kenny from Belmont, Kavanagh from St Lachtains & Kelly from Portumna?
Lets hope the players they want go in now.

Re: Meeting In Tullamore
This 'bring the hurling back to birr' idea is old news and a waste of energy. BNM O'Connor Park is the county ground, and the HQ for Offaly GAA. Move on FFS. Fully agree with this statement. If that's the detail Michael Duignan and Brian Gavin we will be going backwards and we haven't got much room...
