Re: U20 hurlers 23
Best of luck to the team and mgt next Sunday. Busy this week as these matches are murder on catching up on all the jobs to be done, so will keep the head down. Just want to say to the kids and younger supporters to enjoy the experience again, and soak it up and don't ever take these days for granted...

Re: Offaly Senior Hurlers 2023
Hopefully the tipp game is in tullamore ? Hardly bother you? Once again, classy comments when lads are on the floor. Of course we were pissed off to lose but fair play to Carlow and get on with it. Carlow produced a lot of fantastic hurling on Saturday and there economical use of the ball was a les...

Re: Offaly Senior Hurlers 2023
Just want to echo much of whats been said (mainly), *Great effort in general by the players-we need to learn from this but great committment and work over the last 12 to 14 weeks. *Hope David Nally is ok soon, a lovely hurler who was really coming into the game *Shane Dooley has had his time, can't ...

Re: Offaly Senior Hurlers 2023
Do the bottom 2 not playoff to see who goes down to Joe Mc? I'm most likely wrong here, but thought Westmeath beat Laois last year in a play off for this. Westmeath beat them in 2021 in a Div 1 relegation play off. Straight drop from MacCarthy to McDonagh. As it should be. Can't go changing the rul...

Re: Offaly Senior Football Team - Championship 2023
We were lucky the other night that Laois wern't out of sight. And great to come back in the end. Defensive solidity improvement shown, particularly Meath game is gone. Laois got away too many easy shots, soft goal at that time I though had us completely sunk. Up front was a shambles. Not naming name...

Re: Offaly Senior Football Team - Championship 2023
All the best for the match on Saturday night. A chance to set down another marker against a Laois team that despite not performing well this year, could still cause us problems. We have challenges from getting a consistent 75 minute performance to consistency between matches. Lads should be well res...

Re: U20 hurlers 23
I think no brainer for us but not for him and management, and co board.
Mitchell has maded a serious contribution to the seniors in tight games and this differnce could be crucial to beating Carlow.
Leave it to the powers that be!

Re: U20 hurlers 23
As for the game this evening. It's too soon to be coherent about it. But it was sheer joy to see us prevail. An animal performance. Wexford looked like they had the run on us towards the end but Offaly dug in brilliantly. Sheer stubbornness got us through. When the dirty ball needed to be won, Offa...

Re: U20 hurlers 23
Egan might well start and use him on the centre back who is physically strong, dog him out of it and stop him dominating. Hard on Hoctor but men off the bench will be critical in this game!

Re: Offaly Minor Football and Hurling 2023
Great fighting spirit in the young lads probably not the most talented team but they have spirit and an attitude That would put some of the senior players to shame . Congratulations to everyone one involved 👍 Like who Hans from the Seniors? I actually thought the opposite, I thought many of the pla...

The beet factory is not up to much these days, surely a few spaces there?
Seriously though, is there any advice up anywhere in relation to traffic advice and suggested parking.
Be handier to drive to kildare and get a train, get a lift home of someone heading to Offaly!
