Wow - 64 years at the top table. Do you know POTH, have any Offaly teams, football or hurling, been a mainstay at senior ranks for their existence?

- Congratulations to Rhode - worthy champions for 2020. Aren't slowing down any time soon. - Best and most competitive Offaly senior football championship in a long number of years? - Clara relegated from Senior - have they ever played in the second tier before? Gracefield missed their chance to bou...

Re: Senior A Football Champioship

Very interesting first round of matches. A lot more spice compared to the last few years and the larger group structures. Great work by Offaly GAA to showcase live matches, highlights. I fancy Ferbane and Shamrocks in the Group 1 and I predict Clara, Tullamore and Cappincur to all finish on 2 points...

Re: Byrne v Duignan

I could be wrong lads but I thought last December that Michael Duignan was elected as chairman of Offaly GAA. You can't open a paper, switch on the TV or radio lately without him commenting on or being interviewed about all things relating to the national GAA scene. I see his auld buddy Donal Og ta...

Well done lads! Two in a row and unbeaten in 3...pity about the lost point against Longford.

When is the last time we have won 2 away games in a row!?

Re: Sigerson/Fitzgibbon 2020

0.4 points for him tonight and 0.1 for Jack Walsh. That makes it 1.17 in 3 matches for Farrell. Unbelievable scoring.

4 Offaly plyers will be represented between the Sigerson finalists which is fantastic to see.

Re: Sigerson/Fitzgibbon 2020

Another 7 points for Cian Farrell in the Q/F. Great to see him and Jack Walsh playing for Carlow, who will face Letterkenny IT in the semi final.

I cannot see whether Shane Tierney was involved for DCU in their Q/F?

Sigerson/Fitzgibbon 2020

Great to see Offaly players involved in both Sigerson and Fitzgibbon this year. I know the last couple of years we have had representatives but we are a long way behind other counties in this regard. Anyway, very positive and great to see Cian Farrell make the Sigerson team of the week after his per...

Re: Maughan & O' Malley / Dunne & Maher

Nigel Dunne was announced manager of Erin Rovers for 2020 so I imagine county commitment is not feasible for him now. I agree on Joe Maher, I think he would be a great addition in terms of ability.

Re: Byrne v Duignan

Looks like Duignan is going to get in if twitter and media reports are to be believed. I think before Duignans Dictatorship takes over we should thank so many hardworking individuals that have gone about their business in the background in difficult circumstances when it would have been so easy to ...

Re: Byrne v Duignan

We have seen public support on club accounts for Duignan's ticket from the following clubs (as would have been expected): St. Rynaghs Ballinamere Durrow Edenderry Clara The 15 votes from the above will cancel out the majority of CB officer votes which will go in favour of the status quo you would im...

Re: Byrne v Duignan

I do appreciate that this new group don't have all the answers and some may even be interested in little bit of ego trip but I am certain of one thing! The new group will bring good people in around them and bring a positivity and effort level in terms of coaching and games dev and strategy that we...
